GHK-Cu Copper (1%) Tripeptide Serum with Hyaluronic Acid (1.5%) - Face and Scalp Serum

Update: The first bottle lasted six months, on my second. I use only 2-3 drops at a time, spread on key areas, you may use it faster than I do. Back to the original review...I've been using the GHK-Cu serum for two weeks. But I noticed on benefit that made it easily worth in the first five days.I'm 67, have had an issue that comes and goes since I a young man. I have soft skin and a strong beard, I get a condition at the corners where my mustache grows, the sides of the mouth above my upper lip. It usually starts as razor burn, and then maybe gets infected. The skin gets red and tender, often itchy and sore at the same time. It will try to heal and just produce flaking skin every day until it heals. I don't have it all the time, but I have to watch out for the start of it and keep my skin moisturized, it takes weeks to go away. I have to scrape off flaking skin before I go out, and it's uncomfortable, and red.Recently, I've been battling it, and asked my dermatologist about it. He prescribed 2.5% hydrocortisone cream. It was keeping it from progressing to its worst, but not clearing it. I was being careful with how much I used, because it's not a great long term solution. If it cleared it up quickly and I could stop, I'd be OK with it, but it wasn't happening.I bought this as curiosity on the effects of copper peptides, particularly with sun damage. But I tried just a small amount on this condition, instead of the HC, and it seemed better the next day—at least as much change as I ever saw from medication. And after five days, I had no doubt it was the serum doing the job. For years, I used a safe aloe vera and Na-PCA moisturizer (after trying other things that failed) that was good enough to keep the flareups from getting too bad, and would slowly bring things back to normal, but this is clearly much more effective, and better than even the strong hydrocortisone. I'm using just the tiniest amount.I don't know whether it's the hyaluronic acid of the copper peptides. But I'll be using it for this condition now. I have some minor sun-exposure (grew up surfing) issues on my face, the reason I have a semi-annual visit with by dermatologist, so I'm also applying to problem areas (corners of forehead, couple of spots on my hands). That's a harder test, because it requires repairing something, not just getting over something. So far, it seems to have improved the skin quality. I'll continue and see what it does for sun damage, but it's already a winner for my other issue.

This stuff works great. It leaves my face feeling so soft and moisturized. This is the only brand that I use. I will continue buying this stuff forever.

I've been using this serum for months now. After I lost weight, I needed to tighten my skin. I apply a thin layer nightly after washing my face. It has a clean scent & a smooth feel. And the fine lines on my face have pretty much disappeared. Now I'm using it on my neck to try for the same results. I would definitely recommend this serum. It's a good value compared to other options.

I’m almost done with my first bottle application, I can notice a difference in my hair being fuller. It has not covered my bald spot in the back of my head but of course I was not expecting it. I think I’ll use it 2 notes times and see how it goes.

I wish I had taken a 'before' photo so you could understand the amazing, literally overnight results I have had on a rough, scaly patch of skin. Nothing has worked to soften it up and exfoliating ended up causing a more painful, redder rough patch. After one....just one.....use, the patch was visibly better and no longer irritated at all.

this is my third or fourth bottle of this stuff over the last year and unfortunately my most recent bottle is not the same product. completely thinned out and watered down. in this picture you can see a drop of the old product totally solid and gel like, meanwhile the new one feels just like water. it’s unfortunate mostly because i no longer trust this product. who knows what’s in there. this was a daily go to for me but no more :( very sad

Has helped with texture of skin on face and reduce some (not all) fine lines and have only been using for 3 weeks. A little goes a long way so the bottle will last for quite a while it seems.
