Polymer clay is really fun. I like the storage case because it's a great way to store all of the inclusions between uses. I also really like the included mold. I found that if I put the clay I've pushed into the mold into the fridge before removing the pieces, they come out very cleanly. I also bake the clay pieces in a little aluminum foil tent in my oven and use a thermometer inside the oven to monitor the temperature. The clay is a little sticky, as it's so soft it has a little extra plasticizer compared to some of the name brand clay. If it's a little too 'oily' feeling, I squish a chunk of it in typing paper and that is a great, simple remedy. The major downside to the set is that there is only a small quantity of any particular color, so if I really like a few of the colors, I cannot order just that single color.I also do not like that the clay isn't properly labeled to be ASTM D-4236 compliant, despite what is printed in the pamphlet and packaging. It's an uncured plastic until it is cured in the oven, and one should avoid contact with eyes and food preparation surfaces. Safety information is lacking in the included pamphlet. This is the only reason I cannot award 5-stars with a good conscious. As a consumer advocate, I take safety seriously and hope that the company will soon remedy this oversight and make a safety data sheet available. Otherwise, this is a nice alternative to name-brand clay, provides a good variety of colors and is soft and pliable enough that younger crafting enthusiasts should be able to use it with minimal frustration.

My kids really like to play with clay. They can spend a long time at it and make really interesting things. It is good for them. I would much prefer them doing something than watching something.It is nice because they can spend the time doing it and then they have something special to keep. They are excited when they make something themselves.This is a great activity for a rainy day or a day when your child is sick or when you are just stuck at home. It is a good way to keep a child busy.I thought it was age appropriate. It wasn’t too hard. The children really liked how everything turned out.I feel like this is good for child development. It kept my children's interest. It would also make a nice gift.I would recommend it.

I spent hours with my granddaughters making jewelry and other things with this kit. The instructions on how to use some of the tools and accessories could have been better, but we figured it out. The girls loved the huge selection of colors, and they're looking forward to their next visit when they're going to make more things. Great value.

I got this for my granddaughter who loves this polymer clay. It keeps her entertained for hours! The nice thing about this kind of clay versus play dough is that it doesn't dry up or harden if left out. Yes, it can be baked to make it hard (instructions included) but otherwise, the clay stays soft and pliable.
