The shirts I dyed definitely didn't turn out pastel, the colors are actually quite vivid, maybe I over saturated them though. The pink is more of a fuchsia than the cotton candy pink I had hoped for. Overall good quality and easy to use, everything that is needed is included in the kit and there are even extra dye packets to do another round of dyeing. Next time I will try diluting the dye for a true pastel effect.

Product works great and is easy to use.However, the cute pastel colors advertised do not exactly match the hue on the dyed fabrics. The actual fabric dye is darker, not pastel.

I ordered this because my daughter wanted a pastel tye dye set. The 1st picture is after I put the die on. Let it set for 18 hours. You can see it's definitely not pastel especially that Orange is pumpkin color. Then I washed it and that is the 2nd picture. All of the yellow pretty much came out And the light bluest faint. The pink and Orange are vibrant but not at all pastel. Very disappointed because I bought a white duvet cover specifically off of Amazon for this that was all cotton like it suggested.. Between this and the purchase duvet was an expensive mess up. Wish was actually pastel colors that stayed in the fabric

Follow the instructions and watch a YouTube video about tie dying like I did and this is how it will look. Well worth it! I wish I had used a little more dye 2 bottles worth instead of one because it faded a lot but I like it faded and pastel so oh well! Let it sit overnight for best results and wash on cold.

I bought two different sets of colors for our tie dye day. This one purported to be pastels, but a more accurate description would have been "faded pastels".

Colors aren’t really “pastel” but they are cute. Kit seems to come with a decent amount. I did 6 adult size shirts and there was some colors left over. It was easy enough to use, no more messy than I expected, and the colors have stood up to several washes so far. No complaints.

I got this kit for my daughter. She loved the pastel colors and that it includes refills. It came right on time so that she could enjoy it during her spring break. She tie dyed a white shirt and will be making matching sweatshirt and pants. Overall a great kit and easy to follow instructions for my 10-year old girl.
