Surprise, this product works as advertised...
I have a wood deck that is around 800 sq ft in size. It's been over 10 years since I last stripped & refinished it, so the old stain had become very hard & difficult to remove. I had never heard of the Woodrich brand, but it had decent reviews, so I decided to give it a go. Initially, I ordered the mild version of the stripper. It did not make a dent in that old stain. Nada. I had to start over with something different.Despite some serious doubts, I ordered the heavy duty version of the Woodrich product. Eureka! It did a great job. Had to do a few small spots a second time, but the results are terrific. I can highly recommend the heavy duty product, and i suggest not even bothering with the mild version. I wasted $30 to find that out...

WASTE OF MONEY
Followed the directions and kept wet for 15 minutes. Would not begin to attempt to bring semi transparent stain on my deck up with a brush. I reapplied for 1 hour and continued to brush with hardly any stain being removed. Would not buy this product again.

Worked where others wouldn’t
Used this stripper to remove Sikkens stain from deck and highly effective with one application. Don’t skimp and mix double strength for stress-free results!

Not for SOLID colored stains!
This product DOES NOT work effectively on solid colored stain... However, am giving it 3 stars because the Manufacturer's customer service was top-notch and took care of me. Also I have am certain (based on research) that this product WOULD work on semi-solid, semi-transparent, or transparent stains... it just does NOT work on SOLID colored stains.

Former contractor
It worked as well as I expected. It would have received 5 stars but for the work it actually requires to clean the deck. I was a painting contractor for 24 years and did many decks. I do not recommend using a power washer after applying this material. I guarantee you will gouge the wood if it is soft like cedar. Even the brushing brings up grain, but this shows that the wood softens with this product. If you dared to use the wrong nozzile on the PW, you WILL regret it.Just do the labor and brush it around. I recommend cutting back the amount per gallon unless you are removing a solid color stain. For semi-transparent use half the formula. Spray it on with a garden sprayer, then brush it out. Hose down with the hose nozzle at its strongest, then rinse well, very well. During the brushing, to maintain a wet edge, spray lightly with water. It still works.

Did not touch the stain.
Billed as working on everything including solid stains. I have a heavy cost of semi-solid stain on a mahogany deck. It did almost nothing to the finish. I had a deck restore pro use it and they were right. It wasn't going to work. They plan on sanding anyways. Beware, this product cannot be returned!

Super easy, worked great, and a fair price!
I decided to try a small triangular section of my twenty-two-year-old deck to see how this stuff worked. I probably had three or four coats of Behr stain that I needed to remove. I used the dosage it called for and soaked it with a garden sprayer as directed for 15 minutes. Since it was a warm sunny day I used my big deck umbrella to keep it in the shade as much as possible, but I had to reapply a little to keep it wet. After 15 minutes, I used the power washer and it came out great! I will certainly be waiting until and more overcast day before I continue but I am certainly happy that it works! The first picture is after the soak and power washing, the second picture is after it all dried.

Did the job, but made a mess
This product does what it says it will do: strip off the old stain/sealer from your deck. What I didn't anticipate, though, is that little tiny flakes of removed sealer would get all over the siding/door/patio furniture (which I thought I'd moved far away, but obviously not far enough). These little flakes do exactly what paint or sealer is supposed to do: Stick to the surface they come in contact with. I tried power washing the flakes off, but once they were dried on, it was too late. Windex, Mr. Clean, elbow grease didn't work. I finally tried paint thinner and that, combined with more elbow grease, is finally removing the flakes from the glass patio door. Not sure if I want to try it on the siding yet. The faux-wicker patio furniture? It'll have those flakes until they fall off on their own.So yes, this product does what you want it to. But beware of the side effects. Would I use it again? Probably, if I had to. The deck looks great, almost like new. But I would hire a team of escaped felons and overpay them in cash the next time the deck needs to be cleaned/resealed. I still have to get the flakes off of my doors and I'm getting too old for this crap.
