I received a bag that was damaged in the warehouse, with a detergent odor and a stained bag
I complained to the company that the bag of coffee I received seemed old, as the bag had a detergent odor and a stain. The coffee was tasteless, a sign that it was old. The company replied that this was not characteristic of their coffee, and they refunded my order. This is the kind of seller I appreciate doing business with.

Fine coffee
Light roasted coffee with very smooth flavor. Comes in a very simple bag – I don’t personally care because I used it for myself but didn’t look very attractive to give it as a gift to someone. I expected a different and special flavor from Ethiopian coffee, but the taste was just OK, nothing really special. The aroma is strong and good.

Sidamo
No taste, flat. Waste of time and money.

A premium medium roast with hints of strawberry!
It says it has strawberry hints and they are right! The smell has a strong bit of strawberry in it before brewing. After brewing you can still smell it and the beginning, middle and aftertaste have a slight strawberry flavor and it's just wonderful. There's no hint of bitterness in any part of the taste as well. I'd definitely recommend trying this at least once. I might even call this a premium medium roast because of the quality and taste. The strawberry is a bit strange but I really like it. It's like they took the bitterness that most other coffees have and replaced that with hints of strawberry. Very well done.

Very Light on Flavor
If you don't like dark or strong coffee, this might be the coffee for you. I don't love overly dark coffee, but I want the coffee flavor and this comes out just too light and watered down for my taste. I had to add creamer and syrup to make it more flavorful.I'm not sure if I've had Ethiopian beans before and maybe that's the difference in what makes a lighter brew. Maybe it's meant for more of a light dessert coffee instead of an everyday coffee. The aroma upon opening it was light, not overly strong. I didn't notice any of the strawberry, cocoa, or cherry mentioned in the description.

Needed milk to enjoy. No expiration or fair trade info on the bag that I could find.
Hudson Roasters Ethiopian Sidamo Natural Ardi Whole Bean CoffeeThe light-medium roast coffee beans arrived in a 12-ounce kraft bag (so it’s a smaller bag) with a traditional reclosable tie. The color of the beans matched a medium roast we had on hand. The beans had a strong aroma (that wasn’t enticing to me) in the bag. This was my first Ethiopian Sidamo coffee, and it’s not one I will reorder, but that may just be my taste preference. All coffee was brewed with our Keurig K-Café Smart machine and the Keurig Universal Reusable Coffee Filter. I brewed both 6- and 8-ounce cups, and played with the amount of grounds used, so I could taste the coffee plain at various strengths before adding warmed/frothed soy milk.I didn’t want to drink a cup of this coffee plain or with sweetener at any strength, but will drink the rest of the bag as Café au laits. The caffeine level was good. The flavor profile states strawberry, cocoa, and cherry, which is what the Sidamo/Sidama region is known for, but those notes weren’t apparent to me.The listing states these beans are fair trade, but that information isn’t on the package. The beans I received in June 2023 had no expiration date that I could find.

Stale
I was excited to try a coffee from a small company but now that I've tried it, not so much. The coffee tastes flat, bland, kind of bitter. It's not one of my favorites. I won't be reordering.
