It does the job but is not as high quality as its Nexus 2012 equivalent. The cover is smooth rather than textured, is a bit less sturdy than the earlier version, and does not fit quite as snugly. All the same, I am satisfied with it.

After 3 years of using one... when it was destroyed... I bought he same again... Simple... does the job very well but couldn't handle the abuse of my hand...Thin and adds almost no weight to the tablet.

Fits great. I read some reviews about it not fitting as snugly as expected but I have the 2013 model and it fits perfectly on mine.
