Doctor Who Evacuation Earth (NDS) (UK)

Much-played game for young avid Doctor Who fan.Worked FINE on a Nintendo 3DS although it was an older game.There are a few spots that are tricky and he asked mom to help pass through (a particular slide-type puzzle of a computer chip comes to mind that took poor mom several HOURS to get right! Lol). From my recollection- a player needed to complete the puzzle in order to advance to next adventure. That was a bit frustrating for a younger player- but perhaps other young Doctor Who aficionados are better at puzzles than we are...

My son received this for Christmas and he really likes the game.. My biggest concern would be if this game would work on an American DS system... It does! So for all you Who fans, fear not. The game works great and is fun, and is true to the series.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my 9yr old. Hoped it would arrive in time, since it was slated to come in just before or just after. Was so pleased that it shipped quickly and arrived in time for his birthday on dec 7th. He has enjoyed playing this game. Works great on his DS lite. It has fun little mini games/puzzles that you have to solve to continue along the path to the goal.

Bought for daughter last year. While this game was not as exciting as some and the graphics not as good as some, it totally didn't matter to my young Whovian. She was as happy as can be to get this and play.

Bought this as a gift for a Doctor Who fan. He loves it. He doesn't have any problems with it working on his Nintendo DS XL, either, although, in another review, it was put up it wouldn't work in that system; the advice here is to try it out, if you don't have a basic DS, DS Lite, or DSi, because it might just work in yours, too.

It arrived today. No complaints. It got here before Christmas and before they said it would so I am happy. And if it plays on the American version of the DS when I give it away to my nephew, so much the better.

Do not be deterred-it will say it takes over a month to get this game from the UK. I received it in less than 2 wks! Game was brand-new in original plastic and packaging. No damage from the international shipping. It is a birthday gift, so no info on whether it is fun or not, but the shipping was excellent!

This is a puzzle based game and works on DS systems from the USA as well. My wife is enjoying it very much and says hearing the actual voice of Matt Smith and Amy Pond is awesome.

This was bought for my daughter who finished it quite quickly, she's only 9 years of age, so i had ago and found it to be a very simple game to complete. there is onyl one way to go through the game and the help you get in doing so makes it so easy to do, in fact a bit too easy to do.There are one or two obsticles which can make you faulter but after a quick think you soon crack the code, so to speak, and away you go.The graphics are pretty good and the voice overs are actually Smith and Gillan, (apparently), which gives the game a bit of credability, but as for playability it falls into the easy to boring section and, once completed, doesn't really appeal to the mind to have another go.Luckily though Amazon have and offer where they will give you a voucher for certain games, this being one of them, so, if my daughter gives me the nod, i'll be taking them up on this offer, rather than have this game sat on the shelfIn all, not a bad game with some good graphic and game play, but a little too easy to complete and not one of those games you want to play again once completed

This is so much better than the usual run of the mill game where you have to find numerous objects. That is nowe so boring and I am not playing them any more. A bit like Prof Layton, the Dr Who game has puzzles, some of which are really quite, well...er puzzling!! Havent finished it yet but am enjoying it so far.

Bought as a Christmas present, and despite having the magic Doctor Who symbols on it, didn't seem to make an appearance after Christmas. Not quite sure why it fails as a game, but if it doesn't draw my fanatical offspring in, I can't think it's going to work for anyone else either.

Those who like the "Dr Layton" games will definitely like Dr Who. It's a game with a nice storyline and graphics, lots of puzzles to solve, which will keep you busy for days.

Very different to what I was expecting but I'm enjoying playing this. Some of the puzzles are a lot harder than they look
