GE Appliances WD21X24900 Dishwasher Electronic Control Board Assembly

Installed easily, and worked properly afterwards. Before installing this part, the Dishwasher had the problem where it acted like it thought the door was still open, and would not start a cycle(3 beeps). Dishwasher worked correctly after installing this part. So far, has been working for 3 weeks without a hitch.Update on 3/16/23. Dishwasher failing again, but different than the original door problem. Now, intermittently, the dishwasher fails to energize the heated dry cycle, so everything is soaking wet at the end of the cycle. I am contacting the seller to see if they offer a warranty on the product. Other vendor sites indicate that GE has a 1 year warranty on parts.

It was worth me buying this instead of replacing my dishwasher although for the future I know this board will go bad as well. Update: this was a short time fix because this mother board also failed after a few months… not sure if it’s the piece or my machine that broke it. I have a new washer now, don’t buy GE brand

I ordered this Tuesday and received it Wednesday. I paid extra for faster shipping, but didn't expect it till Monday. My gosh what service. The part was easy to install and worked great. I appreciate the list of models it worked with so I could verify my dishwasher model and not order the wrong thing. Thank you

**Update Jan 2024, the part failed yet again, this time after 11 months.** This was my 3rd purchase of this part. Each has lasted from 8-16 months. My most recent purchase from 9 months ago has stopped working. If you want it to last a long time be prepared to turn off the circuit breaker between uses. Cheaper than buying a new dishwasher and easy to replace, but the part itself will start malfunctioning within days. You will hear the dishwasher turn its display on randomly as if you opened the door. That continues until the day it decides no more, and you are back here to buy it again or replace the whole unit.

I troubleshot my dishwasher to the point everything told me I needed to replace the control board. I wound up ordering one that was used but deemed good to try save some money. After all was put back together I had the same issue. I tried resetting and all the normal troubleshooting steps again but to no avail. So I started a return. After doing so I took another stab at it while everything was still connected, and I noticed a loose cable tucked up out of sight, when I plugged this cable in the dishwasher came back to life! I now need to cancel that return, but there is no cancel button! I am now believing that this cable became disconnected on the original board some how, but just in case I will keep the board and perhaps the original is now a back up. Darn blasted appliances!!

My GE GDF610PSJ2SS dishwasher stopped working all of a sudden. I initially thought the door latch was bad, but after monitoring the control board, I realized the board was bad because the service LED was steady off. I replaced the control board and my dishwasher works perfectly.
