Ok and does what it says it does.
We tried these for my aging mutt who's back legs slide all over our hardwood floors. Once they were on my dog's feet he DID have better traction on the floors.I sized them using their instructions (I only measured the rear paws as that's all we needed them for). However, our dog never really got used to them and they seemed to slide down on occasion. The other issue we had was that our dog still goes outside fairly regularly and it wasn't realistic for us to take them on and off (they would certainly fall off outside on him), since putting them on is a little tricky. All in all they seemed like a decent product and just didn't work well for us.

Almost a 5 star review..
I bought these for my almost 14yr old puppy because she was starting to slip on the tile (we don't have a lot of rugs because rugs get dirty quickly with 8 pets 🙂)... overall, they do what they're supposed to do. They seen well made and must be comfortable because my dog hasn't tried to rip them off yet. I've had them on her all day and she's getting used to them pretty quickly. I can tell she feels much more confident and has been prancing and jumping a lot more, which I'm very happy to see. The only thing keeping this review from being 5 star is that the socks slip down and I have to readjust/pull the socks up every 20 minutes or so. I am using the velcro straps that came with them and still having issues. I'm wondering if I need to exchange for a smaller size, but her paws fit perfectly in these and I'm afraid the smaller size will be too tight around her paws. For reference, my dog is a pit mix, 48 lbs, and has dainty legs but wide paws - I bought size Large.

Good Fit
Bought this product to help my 1 year Rhodesian Ridgeback be able to walk on my wood floors. I consulted with customer service for the right size and they were right on the size they told me order. The socks are well made, better than what I found in the local pet stores. I put them on my RR and they slipped right off within about 15-20 minutes, so I added the Velcro strips and placed them exactly where the directions stated. This worked and held the socks on and kept them from twisting as well. The only thing is, the Velcro strips did not last long, meaning they curled on the ends and gathered lint on them so they wouldn't stick any more and this was after about 2 weeks of wearing. The socks gave my pup the confidence to walk on the floors and so I needed to figure out how to replace the Velcro strips. I wasn't going to order another set from the company because they didn't last long enough the first time. So I went to Walmart and in the automotive section, I found self sticking Velcro in a roll that was twice as wide as the original ones sent with the socks. I cut my strips and applied them to the socks and that did the trick. While the thinner strips may work for smaller boned dogs, they didn't last for my thicker boned dog but the wider strips work beautifully. I really do like the socks and the quality of them, I hope they last for a long time. I did use them outside as well to walk my dog on the street as I wanted to protect his paws from any salt residue during the winter. The only reason I didn't give a 5 rating was because I had to figure the alternative for the Velcro strips for my dog.

Helps
They’re a bit wider than described. When walking, they seem to look just fine when the dog’s toes open but it’s still too loose. My baby is almost 13, drags one hind leg and has knuckling issues as well where the toes bend backwards which makes these socks move sometimes and I have to pull it back to place. He has Degenerative Myelopathy and is currently on 1000 mg ( non-thc ) CBD OIL which seems to be helping slow down his condition and taking Galliprant for his arthritis on hips as well. But sometimes on his bad days he drags one hind leg really bad and he keeps slipping and these socks help a lot. Non-slip stickers come off all the time and this is the last alternative to protect him from slipping and scraping the skin on his knuckles. I think these are way better than non-slip stickers but I still use non-slip stickers together with the sock because i take it off when he’s asleep and I dont let him wear the sock all day due to blood circulation concerns. It can’t be worn overnight as the top part seems a bit tight thus the need to always have non-slip stickers. I dont use the velcro straps that came with the package. Those are not safe and can seriously cut the skin right thru the muscle if left unattended. These are meant only for indoor use. And too sticky for ceramic tiles or marble. Use them outdoors for a few times until stickiness goes away. Careful when going down steps or stairs if dog’s hind leg is weak. Mine tripped on it because it was too sticky on the step (paver) outside. It’s just one step down, the sock got caught because it was still fresh from the packet and too sticky. It was kinda sticking on the step. As his foot landed on the floor under the step, the shoe was halfway out. He tripped on it and he was limping right after. I am a housewife and stay home most of the time and can check on him. If you aren’t home always, use this product on days when you’re off work to find out if it can be good or bad. But overall, with proper supervision and getting to know how your baby can use it, these are very helpful. The toenails do hit the front part when walking. It may be bad if worn too long. Dog may end up with painful toe joints. So be cautious. 1 size down would have been better for the size 6 I ordered for my 100 lb slim German Shepherd. His hind feet are smaller than the front. These are too tight for his front feet. There’s a few drawbacks on this product but am still happy I got these. Will be buying a smaller size next time tho. Get these so your senior babies can have better quality of life. Highly recommend !

Well made
Cannot speak to wearability or durability of these. My skittish dog lost his mind when we tried to put them on him.

Okay
Dog hates them. They twist and turn and no matter what I do they wont stay on properly. Not worth the purcahse.

problem with sizing
Based on reviews, I ordered a large for my medium size Golden Retriever (68 lb.). Too small, couldn't get them on his feet. Re-ordered a size X-tra Large - still too small. Couldn't get them over the knuckles on his hind feet. I've re-ordered final time, size XXL. Hopefully these will fit. I'll have spent total $33 on delivery charges for three pairs of socks that costs $21.95 each. If I return the two pairs that are too small, it would have cost an additional $22 (or $44 total in delivery charges for $44 worth of ill fitting socks). As far as quality is concerned, they have a plastic-like coating which is light weight compared to other brands and comes with velcro straps to help hold them on. If I could get socks that fit, I'm sure they'll work on our hardwood floors.

Definitely worked for my dog!
I’ve got a little Toy Poodle who used to do agility and was as fit as a flea, until a fall where he dislocated his shoulder, I’ve managed it myself with Physio, swimming etc, but now he is 13 years he was slipping on hard floors and splaying out like Bambi on ice, I can’t tell you how it broke my heart to watch him struggle up, after being such a fit and active dog, but I guess any true dog lover will understand that feeling. I have tried a few different things for him including little things that slipped over his nails, Dom is a very sweet gentle dog who loves everyone but he actually growled under his breath at me for putting them on! I saw a friend had these boots on her old dog and tracked them down to Amazon and sent off for them. Not expecting them to work but wanting them to! They came reasonably promptly and I put them on him immediately, I got the XXsmall, as poodles have very small feet and fine legs, they fit him well, are a bit of a fuss getting on until you’re used to them, but once on, and they start moving around...just WOW! He instantly knew he was safe and even on wooden floor he confidently struts once more, I will never not have them now. Something that actually works! My darling boy keeps up with his younger poodle friends everywhere in the house once more. Just wish I had found them sooner.

Customer Service is impressive with this company
I was originally concerned about the size I had purchased for my 16 year old Shih Tzu (xs), Thinking that the sock part would be too snug and cut off circulation . The customer service person from the ‘Gripper’ company encouraged me to try the size I had bought and that if I wasn’t satisfied they would gladly refund even though they had been used.My dog has worn them for a few days now and the sock part has loosed and the ‘Gripper’ has started to slip off. Because he isn’t an overly active dog, I will continue to just pull the ‘Grippers’ up.

Great customer service - if only my dog would keep them on.
I bought a pair too small for my Westie at first, and the guys at the other end very kindly changed them for me with no problems. Sadly my Westie is elderly now and very suspicious of new things, having had her ears and eyes messed about with for the past two years. She seems to have decided that pulling socks onto her paws is something to be avoided, although she's very patient and placid. I did manage to get them all on, but she refused to leave her refuge on the mat, so I couldn't test them out. She did, on the enticement of food, step gingerly onto the tiles at one point, and indeed her feet did not slip. She doesn't make the connection though - she's a bit dim. She busied herself at the earliest opportunity with removing the pedal intruders, and they were off. I gave it one more shot but she'd got it down to a fine art, and whipped them off in minutes. So now she just has to take the consequences and slide about. Her choice - I tried!
