Ouidad Playcurl Volumizing Conditioner, 8.5 Fl oz

I have tried every curl product out there. DevaCurl, Curlsmith, the new BB Curl line, LUS, and other curl lines from Shea Moisture, Biolage, Pureology, etc.This curl conditioner is the ONLY conditioner that makes my finer, somewhat “S” shaped/somewhat curlier ends hair weightless, moisturized, and strong. I’ve never had a conditioner that was so good at not weighing down my hair. I wanted to cry when they replaced it with the new “curl shaper” line. Even though the playcurl line isn’t approved by Curly Girl due to the ingredients (and the playcurl shampoo is definitely somewhat stripping, so I’m fine with the new curl shaper cleansing conditioner), it’s the only conditioner that’s ever worked so well. I’m resorting to Amazon to get more until I can figure out what to do. My hair wants to be conditioned in the shower, not weighed down by heavy creams and oils that ransack the beauty store shelves now. They weigh down my hair, make it greasy, and make my curls limp.Also, I don’t understand how anyone thinks this smell is too strong. It smells great.

I wanted to try some new products to manage my messy hair. Not really curly. Not straight. More wavy but really just messy. Fine hair but a lot of it. I liked how the moroccan oil shampoo and conditioners defined my waves but the smell was too intense. Ouidad is very very pricey but I decided to splurge. I do prefer the scent but don't feel like the conditioned is exceptional. The Ouidad cleansing oil shampoo is really nice though. A little goes a long way. I finished the bottle of conditioner in half the time of the shampoo. Might try a different Ouidad conditioner to see if it's more nourishing.

I use this with the Ouidad shampoo for frizzy hair. I think they're amazing!!! I'm amazed that this shampoo can make such a difference in my hair. Thanks to the manufacturer!

As I guy, I don't see adds for hair products for curly hair. It took a new hairdresser to lead me to Ouidad. I've been using anti-thinning products for too long with the only result being that my hair was too dry. One day of Ouidad conditioner and I could tell the difference. My hair picked out in seconds and it feels softer. I'll be replacing all of my hair products with Ouidad.

I have curly thick hair and this product by far is the best! I wish it was available in larger containers because I have long hair as well and it goes fast!

I really loved the scent and it helped shape my curls but it gave my hair too much volume.

The price point is too high for the product. I didn’t notice a significant difference to justify the cost.
