Mother: A Tribute to Mother Earth Hardcover – Illustrated, 25 May 2021

I bought this for my wife for one of her Christmas presents last year as she wanted it . It’s filled with very well taken photos and info regarding said photos .However her indoors has barely looked at it after the initial excitement on Christmas Day . This is not due to the quality of the book but is because the book is huge and weighs about 400 kilos , therefore my poor wife cannot lift it . It now resides on the bookshelf on one end while the rest of our considerable library is piled up on the other end to balance the cabinet out

Simply stunning.One of the most beautiful wildlife books I’ve ever seen.The most spectacular shots from possibly one of the most talented photographers out there at the moment.Bought as a gift for our son, who himself is a wildlife photographer and he was blown away. Besides the stunning images and words, he also appreciated that there’s a section of the book that explains some of the technical details of the shots.It’s a BIG book, so be prepared for it to take up some space - but it’s worthy of any coffee table big enough for it to sit on!Worth every penny

I have bought a few photo books over the years, and I have to say this is by far my favourite. The quality of images is unfaltering. This book is the product of years and years of a dedication rarely found, by one of the most talented photographers out there.Careful you don't do what I did. I did not realise the book was almost at the top due of the box, due to being pushed up by the amount of packaging. As a result I regrettably scored the front cover of the book when scoring the packing tape with scissors.

This book was drawn to my attention through an article, by the Editor of Amateur Photographer magazine, in one of his articles.Seeing the sampler pictures made the decision, easy.Having the real thing is, incredible. Quality faces you, on every page. The printing`s excellent, and even those not interested in taking pictures are amazed at the content. The animals , landscapes and even some people, come to life in an exceptional way.Just buy it.

Visually stunning book, every photo is top par - well worth the money and a great edition to the coffee table. VERY IMPRESSED!

Big dimensions book, not too heavy though, beautiful photographs, on quality paper. Bought as a gift because I could not find anything with impact for the price. Beautifully written by this award winning photographer. Really recommend. Recipient, early thirties, was delighted.

This book is beautiful and Marsel is a stunningly talented photographer. I'm just a little sad that the cover was slightly damaged, the clingfilm wrap is not substantial enough.

This is a very large and quite heavy book packed with stunning images of wildlife and landscapes. I would heartily recommend it to anyone intested in tis type of photography

This book is a work of art. Van Oosten is one of the world's leading nature photographers, and it shows. I loved the foreword by Bret Weinstein, and the long interview with the photographer. It wasn't until I flipped through the book for the first time that I realized there are a lot of iconic images in there that are famous. This truly is next level. I can't recommend it enough.

Nachdem ich das Buch einmal wegen des beschädigten Covers zurücksenden musste, kam es beim zweiten Versuch wohlbehalten hier an und ich bin froh, diesen Aufwand betrieben zu haben. Die Fotos sind atemberaubend schön.
