Portable Mini Air Cooler,3 in 1 Fast Cooling Mobile Conditioner,Air Fan USB with Adjustable Speeds for Home Bedroom Office

I wanted a cooler that used its own ice trays, as it’s more efficient than using ice cubes in a separate reservoir. This works really well and blows nice chilly air, but I do keep it close to me as I use it on my desk whilst sat at a computer in a hot room. I usually get around 2-4 hours cooling from a single ice tray (the unit comes with 2 trays).You simply put both the trays and the “water curtain” in the freezer and drop them into the top of the unit when ready. The excess water melts into the lower tray and then is mostly wicked up by the curtain again and expelled as cold air.My only concern and the reason it lost 1 star is that after sales support is non existent from the manufacturer (Shenzhen elite technology Co.), they don’t reply to any e-mails. I’m concerned that the “water curtain” it comes with will eventually wear out and the user manual actually states that you should replace it every 3-6 months...the problem being...I can’t find replacement curtains anywhere on the internet!

Bought to use in Campervan but even with the ice pack and soaked sponge it doesn’t really cool.

the air coming out is slightly cooler than normal fan when the water curtain is wet. but its quite small so u need to empty the water tray quite often.wind speed is not super strong. slightly stronger than the lowest wind speed on my normal fan.overall it makes me more comfortable in the hot weather but there is one big disappointment. u cant charge this thing up. it needs a constant power source. so its not that "PORTABLE".

underwhelming

Not the best to use on a every day basis.It does cool down the air a bit, but it only lasts for about an hour or less on quite a hot day (approx 27 c ),and its a pain to keep emptying the melted water out, then having to wait until the inserts have been re-froze again before you can use it again

When I bought this I didn't need it, as weather wasn't so warm. For it's price I was expecting something good. Whne I took it out to use, when the hot weather arrived, I was badly disappointed. it's just a box with what looks like a poor quality pc fan in it and some plastic trays to freeze water in. The water stayed frozen only long enough to put into the box, then it melted. Personally it was not worth the money I paid for it and you can't even repurpose it as a fan, so yeah. money wasted.

much better than I thought it would be, even without using one of the supplied ice trays it gives a cooling breeze.runs for many hours on a power bank with a variable fan speed dial.please note as it says in the description this is for personal use, it will not cool a room. you need to spend a couple of hundred pounds on a propper air conditioner if that is what you are hoping for.what this does, it does very well..

It’s nice and cold when you are right by it but doesn’t blow very hard or far or fast, not worth the money.
