SD Racing PartsRC 20A Brushed ESC Motor Speed Controller Switchable Brake for RC Car Boat Tank

Tried these when learning the electronics of the remote controlled vehicles to try. I have purchased quite a few of them been using for a little more than a year and still work fantastic! Out of all that I have and in use have only had 2 not work. 1st one was my fault (as I said learning) and placed the +,-, & signal wires backwards in the receiver and must have fried something. Learn from my mistake "CHECK INSTALLATION WIRE PLACEMENT". 2nd was faulty when it arrived but, not only provided RMA also return shipping postage - HOW CAN YOU GO WRONG! This is a great product and have started to modify Goodwill toy remote vehicles (working/non-working) that the Grandchildren are still bashing on today - speeds them up from original produces more wheel torque for diverse terrain travel. Same motors/gearing/tires etc... only replace electronics with 3.7 & 7.4 2S lipo battery. Planning to start collecting more Goodwill toys to convert and give to less fortunate children at Christmas time!

I wasn't to impressed with this little ESC. I was hoping it would be the perfect little esc for my son's 1/18th scale rock crawler. The problem I encountered with this little esc was it kept glitching out in reverse. Then I couldn't get it to go forward without turning it off and back on. Not sure if it's a bad esc or not. I ended up getting a bit more expensive esc and didn't have any issues. It was over kill for the little truck, but it works now. I really had hoped this would have worked. It is the perfect size and just what I was looking for but it was acting funny so I'm not sure what is up with it. I haven't messed with it since.

nice then little ESC perfect for scratch builds low power!!.So far so good seems to have a little lag I am running it with a 370 brushed motor. and 2 speed gear box
