Attracts pet hair
Attracts pet hair. Hair gets woven into the fabric and doesn’t wash out.

Nothing but good things to say about it!
I’ve used bipap for years, and have made several tube covers myself. However, THIS one beats them all!Having that full length zipper makes a world of difference. In the photo supplied, if you look carefully, you’ll notice two tubes for the machine. The one with the blue cover (handmade by me) is the scrunchy style. It is not insulated, and serves the main purpose of making my medical equipment look less like medical equipment. One end of this tube connects to the bipap that sits on the top shelf, and, the other is attached to the humidifier. The humidifier sits on the lowest shelf. This Tender Tubing cover is on the tubing that connects my mask to the humidifier. Its the beige color, and I have it turned satiny side out.I have a Philips Respironics bipap unit, and Fisher Paykel humidifier. (The humidifier that came with the Respironics machine did not offer enough humidity due to its small reservoir, and I hated it!)This arrangement allows me to keep the humidifier lower by a great measure than the bed is. Those who struggle with rainout may be able to rectify the issue simply by placing their humidifier significantly lower than the height of their pillow. When we travel, I usually put both units in the lowest nightstand drawer, keeping the drawer all the way open of course. All this to say that the Tender Tubing cover is insulated just fine. The zipper was a couple of inches longer than the cover on one end, so, that end is the one connected to the reservoir.I have no issues with it sliding down. I have standard diameter tubing. I did attach an elastic with snap at the “face end” to keep the zipper tab from jingling. The cover is well made, and I wish I’d found it years ago.I am 100% not affiliated with the company in any way, and they do not know I am reviewing their product. The price is well worth the aggravation it would be for me to make one, especially with that wonderful zipper!

I like It
This review is for "Tender Tubing CPAP Tubing Insulator Cover, 6 Ft. (BLUE)"This cover is 1 1\2 inches shorter than 6 ft. I have a Resmed AirSense 10 with a heated tube. Not including the end pieces of the tube but just the tube itself is 75 inches long. So there ends up being 4 inches of the heated tube that is still exposed.I am not sure that it really makes a difference but would have liked it to cover the whole tube. I am new to the cpap stuff as I have only had my machine for a month and a half. So I didn't think to measure my tube before I ordered. Didn't realize that there could be a discrepancy in length. The Cover itself Looks nice though. I'm Sure it is doing what it is supposed to. I had a lot of water hitting me in the face at night (rainout is what it's called) and since getting this item it hasn't happened. But I also had to adjust settings and relocate the unit away from the window by my bed. So I am not sure if that had anything to do with the rainout going away or not. But In all honesty, This is a good price at 11.95$ I would buy again most definitely. One other thing, it tends to bunch up when I sleep leaving more of the tube exposed. At some point I going to maybe place some tight rubber bands around the ends to try to get them to stay in place.

Soft and easy to use
I love this hose cover. I'd recommend it to any CPAP user who experiences "rainout," or condensation in the tube. This cover is easy to install because it has a zipper the whole length. I also like the fact that it's reversible! One side is soft fleece and the other side is a satin-like material. I have mine with the satiny side out because it doesn't get hung up on my flannel sheets. A winner!

Today's headline: Kitty stops grabbing cpap tube!
Not quite sure how reversible this is as both my partner and I tried to place the satin side out and were unable to zip it up from that perspective. That being said, we left the fleece side out with the zipper tags near the intake on my cpap machine so the jingle jangle of them would not be near my head on the mask. I mean, I do appreciate my hair being pulled at night, but only in a different context, by my partner not a zipper tag. My cpap therapist suggested this as a means to keep our five month old kitten from chewing or clawing the tube. For protection...oooh a condom for a cpap heated tube...pretty much describes this. I find that I like the fleece side. It's soft and warm and a nice dark blue. Does not add weight to it which is most helpful. As my partner is on a bipap machine I may just get another for him. Highly recommend.

It makes sleeping with the hose more comfortable
I gave it 4 starts because while it's a decent product it has some flaws. It is warm and comfortable when it touches my skin which is a plus. However, on one end there are two zippers that jingle. So I always attach that end to the machine so I won't have to hear it. On the other end the zipper comes a good 1-2 inches past the end of the product which is an issue if that's the end you are attaching to your mask. I end up zipping it and then having to tuck the zipper into the end which takes several minutes every night due to the end being stretchy and needing to be over the rubber part of the hose. I wash my nose daily....so for people who do not this may not be such a big issue. It stays in place well and the price was good but the zipper is definitely the downside to this product.

Not too sure about this.
I’m amazed at what people invent! This hose cover is a brilliant idea. However, in the end I haven’t continued using it. My husband has a C-PAP machine with a fancy and genius heated hose...no hose cover needed.Well, I have an A-VAPS machine which is neither fancy or convent. I’m either drowning or dried out. The hose cover didn’t make much of a difference if any in retaining the moisture within the hose. It improved the appearance of having to look at the hose and deterred my cat from wanting to chew it.Do I recommend it, ehhh... I mean it might work for another type of airflow machine or in different environments. I live in the south and we have way too much humidity and heat already.Try it, if it doesn’t work return it. Nothing ventured and nothing gained... so venture!!
