Honda Genuine Element, AIR Cleaner

This fits great in my Honda CR-V. Took minutes to install, and good as new. I really don't understand how the dealerships charge so much money to replace these.

I tend to find a car I enjoy, take good care of it, and keep it forever. So, maintenance is important for that reason. I replace the engine air filter and cabin filter every year, on my birthday, which is a great reminder. I might save a few dollars on a cheaper filter, but decided not to risk it. So, I use a Honda filter for our Accord. It literally takes about two minutes or less to replace yourself. Unsnap 3 clips, raise the lid, pull out the old filter, put the new one in, close the lid, resnap the snaps, and that's it. It literally could not be simpler. (Well, ok, simpler if the lid came off more, but still...) Watch a YouTube video or two, and you'll see how easy it is. We also replace the cabin air filter yearly. That is tucked behind the back of the glove box, and is a bit more complex to change, but watch some videos and save the money at the agencies. My wife and I both have allergies, so I buy a Bosch HEPA filter, also from Amazon.
