The package arrived quickly, and smelled just fantastic. Piñon has a unique fragrance among pines, delicately sweet. A chunk of resin, just warmed in the palm, releases an intoxicating scent of the forests around Taos.

I love the smell of pine logs burning and hoped I’d get that out of this Piñon incense, but sadly, it’s lacking, to put it mildly.My daughter described the smell as “well-marinated garbage”, word for word. No lie…!And… it doesn’t burn pleasantly. It burns into a bubbly, sticky glob of goo, which can be a mess to clean off of my burner.I had high hopes, and was so excited to receive this, but I’m utterly disappointed, especially, given the co$t! It isn’t cheap!! Might see if I can return…
