LOVE this so much!
This is one of the first books I read from Leia Stone and have been addicted ever since. I love Demi and Sawyer, their characters are amazing and well-developed. I liked the plot, it's fast-paced but easy to follow. Also kept cracking up because this story is funny, I can always count on some good comedy relief.I also seriously want to go to Wolf City now. Maybe visit some of the others too!I also find that this is a great reread, and have read it twice now. It was great reading it the second time, I love that it was like reading it for the first time. It was basically like your friend reading a book that you've read and you're constantly thinking 'Ooh it's about to get good!'

Amazing Read!
I love Leia Stone! And I absolutely loved this book! What a great start to the series!"No way was I crying in front of this giant due and the witch, I'd wait until I was alone in my room and cry under my covers like a respectable woman, dangit."The character development was on point, as was the detail regarding the entire world this series is building. Demi is amazing, independent and growing into her true self but I loved how she falls in love with Sawyer. Sawyer is the alpha's son and is not afraid to challenge anyone and everyone for Demi."In the endless garden of flowers, I will always pick you."

Major CliffHanger
I hate cliffhangers. Good story, but make sure whole series is published before you start reading. Love the characters etc, even if the last chapter has the Hero jumping a little quickly to wrong conclusions.

An A-plus-plus read. So Good!
This book caught me by surprise. I was not expecting to find it so engrossing and exciting. I think it was the cover of the first book and title that sort of led me to expect less. But it quickly became impossible to put down. I waited until I had all 4 books before I started reading, and I found them all to be equally absorbing. Our main character, Demi, is a believable "ordinary" (wolf) girl who becomes completely badass without losing her vulnerability. I recommend this series highly.

Don't judge a book by its cover!
I am very impressed with this author and really enjoyed this book. I do have to admit that I would not have ordinarily looked at this book had I not come across it on the internet. I am glad that I did and look forward to reading the rest of the series!

Every book is the same
I keep reading them so obviously they aren’t bad but this is the kind of book I loved when I was 17 now it’s just a book to fill the time. This author has talent I just wish she didn’t only write the down on her luck heroine falls for bad boy alpha male who also loves her instantly (but in a weird controlling horrible way in reality) and has to compete with terrible mean barbies (often exes which should say something about the dude but never does) and has only one or two female friends trope. Like this is basically all the books I’ve ever read by this author. And there is never any sympathy or humanizing of the “Barbie” women, no depth or thought to why they are the way they are (sexist society that doesn’t give women real power, taught they are only valuable for their looks, etc). Not to say that women can’t be villains but these are boring one dimension villains. Anyways, the stories are always interesting and well written just incredibly juvenile and vaguely sexist.

Great Start- Intriguing Series
I just have to praise the Ms. stone for creatively bringing understanding to personality splitting (dissociative identities) - complex process which mind splits under trauma - into this fantasy story. My jaw about dropped (in a good way) as saw the creative expression of this very real condition take place with shift splitting. Most unexpected, real and accurate plot twist I’ve ran into in a fictional romance in a long time. Most people don’t even know was personality splitting is!Very curious how the splitting wolf personality plays out in this series. Will the personality integrate and heal??! Beautiful and simple illustration of what is a very complex issue in the counseling real world. Well done Leia.

Good start to a new series
I read through this book very quickly, it was such an easy read. For most of it I felt almost relieved because the drama in the relationship aspect was pretty low. I mean, there was plenty of drama surrounding Demi and Sawyer but the relationship part of it didn’t seem to be part of it. They were both pretty certain of each other. It honestly felt extremely refreshing to me to have a book/series focus on the relationship as a GOOD thing rather than it being so dramatic with issues. The larger issues were about her and her wolf separating and what that could mean for her and their world. It was also cute to see today’s social media and modern shows and conveniences being implemented within it.I so badly wanted to give this 5 stars and I’ve honestly spent the last few weeks trying to decide on 4 or 5 which is why it’s taken me so longer to post the review (I read this on the 1st of the month). I have decided to go with 4 stars. The reason for this is honestly because of the end of the book. I’m still a bit angry at the switch in Sawyer. And in truth, the entire ending felt really rushed. Like, the book was set at such a pace that we got to the last few pages and then bam bam bam and roll credits. It made my head spin and gave me whip lash. Sawyer would never say those things or react that way. I’m sure there are other things at play but I just…ugh, I honestly wanted this series to go the route of the healthy couple fighting against the evils of the world together…and not more relationship drama. Especially not after all the things that happened and were said between them throughout the entire rest of the book. Like, maybe just focused on kidnapping and NOT tossed the relationship into the fold as another problem to deal with. With that being said I am very eager to read the next installment and I did truly love this book and the characters and world. It’s an easy and engrossing read.

So Unexpectedly Good!!
Well, Leia Stone is a new author to me and now I’m beginning to question why I’ve never read her books before. This book had been on my tbr for quite some time now and honestly I went into this book without any high hopes, but it ended up changing all that and being better than I expected.Wolf Girl was full of so many twist and turns that I never saw coming, as well as the emotional turmoil of what Demi has gone through. I felt for her so much and couldn’t tell you the amount of time that I cried when something heartbreaking happened! The friendships formed where so lovely, it was quite a fast paced plot with the main characters falling for one another quickly.Sawyer is everything, damn really such a great, sweet guy who showed nothing but good and caring intentions towards Demi… well right up until the end when my heart broke more for them both.I was never bored reading this book, fully enraptured and immersed within its pages, that I was able to finish it in 2 day—which for me, hasn’t happened with a book in a very long time! The ending was amazing, with a cliffhanger that just makes you instantly want to pick up the next book (which I will be doing, by the way aha).
