Handy size
Got tired of using 8" clamps for small welding projects. These are well made and work well.

Small but mighty, and a great value!
These *are* small, but you knew that from the sizes given in the description already. This style of clamp is handy in any size and sometimes small is exactly what you need. They are much faster to use than C-clamps and are very strong for their size. These are every bit as good quality as Bessey or Wilton, just better value for money.

Decent little clamp
I bought this because although I already own and like the Bessey MMS-4 4 inch clamp, the price went up a lot on that and these Powertec clamps were lower priced. Though both the Powertec and the Bessey are called "4 inch," and I expected I would be getting a comparable clamp, the dimensions, the feel, and the performance are significantly different. Here are some comparisons:• Jaw opening wide open (with screw threads still fully engaged): Powertec, 4-1/16"; Bessey, 4-3/4".• Jaw depth to center of movable jaw: Powertec, 2"; Bessey, 2-5/16".• Weight: Powertec, 7.6 oz.; Bessey, 10.2 oz.• The steel on the Powertec is thinner in all dimensions.• Curiously, the handle is longer on the Powertec.• The Bessey definitely feels stronger and more robust. As others have said, the Powertec handle will hit the frame of the clamp when one end is bottomed out at the collar. This is an irritation, but it is easy to deal with by by pushing the handle in a bit where needed. The Powertec feels like it is for lighter duty clamping that doesn't need a a lot of holding power. If that is what you want it for, and you don't mind the odd design choice/flaw of the handle hitting the clamp frame, it is a good little clamp.

Very well made.
In the process of stocking up my welding and fabrication equipment for an upcoming project. These are just as well made as my older stronghand clamps. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy them again.

Smaller than you think
Nice little clamps but smaller than expected. Maybe that's my fault. The most disappointing part is the sliding bar to turn the clamp is too long and hits the main body of the clamp. Making it way more difficult than necessary. I'll modify them so this isn't an issue but the manufacturer either never used one or was too lazy to fix an obvious design flaw.
