I was skeptical about buying these legs because they sounded problematic. If the table top you are using is 3/4" you can buy 5 screws for each leg that is #8 sheet metal screw with a pan head at any hardware store. A very common screw. Then screw the base that holds the leg in your top. Take the part that the leg screws into and just use your hands to screw it in lightly as far as it will go. Then lightly take the chrome leg and screw it into that. Then you are done. The screws that they send you are crap and too big and could split the wood. I just tossed them out. I still gave these legs 5 stars because otherwise I really like them and they are less expensive than the ones that Ikea used to sell.

I like the study strong legs. The legs are easy to install and you can adjust the bottom of the legs to align the table.

These legs are fantastic. Perfect. Especially for the price. The screws are absolute junk, though. Just do yourself a favor and throw them away. You’ll save yourself some heartache. The screw heads strip if you even look at them funny. tThe heads twist off. No bueno. You’ll also have an easier time if you drill holes to receive the screws at a slight angle. I found it impossible to angle my drill straight up and down over the holes because of the design of the legs. Really a great product for the price. It’s a shame they don’t include 50 cents worth of decent screws.

The only problem we had was the screws snapped do to the type of wood the table is made of. We then used a # 8 screw.

These legs should not be rated with as many stars as they have. First, the legs themselves are made of extremely thin metal. Second, the piece inside the leg at the top that the bolt is connected to, is held on with 4 flimsy spot welds, that break at any sign a stress on the legs. This happened to three of the four legs.I installed all 4 legs on a 66" x 29" table top. If the table is bumped and any pressure is applies, the legs will become lose and wobbly. This actually breaks the spout welds inside the leg and the leg instantly becomes useless. Made cheaply and not meant for any sort of weight.

Strong and sturdy, wider than I thought but perfect for my needs. Adjustable bottom is almost the width of the leg so they stay stable.

The center screw holes threads on half of the plates were not machined cleanly or correctly. Thus, the legs were cross threaded and forced into the center screw. I hope it holds up!
