I seat on my chair all day 6 days a week and I started to get pain in the butt.The pain got worse and made it so uncomfortable that I ended up purchasing 3 seat cushions: 1 for my desk chair, 1 for my car seat and 1 for my dining chair.As you can see from the picture, I purchased 3 different kinds to see which one works the best for my butt and I actually like the gray donut one the most because of the big hollow area in the middle, which helps relief the pain better than other cushions. I use this HealthMaxx cushion in my car for driving, which feel more comfortable than other cushions and it helps my butt during long distance driving.The material inside the gray donut cushion feels like a plain foam, but this HealthMaxx cushion feels more like a memory foam so it's very comfortable on your butt and it adjusts to your weight.While the gray donut cushion sagged and flattened after using it every day for year or so, this HealthMaxx cushion is still going strong and provides same comfort as it did on day one.I also like the fact that it has a "valley" on the front for your legs, which I believe helps with blood circulations on your legs. I'm taking 1 star away because I wish the hollow area in the middle was bigger and wider, which I believe will help even more with relieving the pain in the butt.Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions.

Love this seat cushion. I bought one for myself and one for Dad since he suffers from back pain, and I had to give mine as a second one since his was so effective helping him with his leg neuropathy symptoms he wanted an extra one for his car and keep his for use around the house. This relief was an unexpected result! Leg neuropathy has affected his lifestyle very much, with very limited relief except from drugs that knock him out. He has been unable to sit for long periods of time due to leg pain. Which the Coccyx seat cushion he is now able to stay at the dining room table without pain, and visit with us in the living room. It has been a game changer in his lifestyle.Apparently the reason he feels better is because it raises his knees just so, we are guessing it improves circulation to his legs, while keeping his back straight - also relieves his back pain.I did not buy it for this purpose, but the unexpected benefit has been a true gift. Now I have to replace mine! I will send a review on how it helps my back pain once I’m able to try it out.

This is a hard review because I bought this hoping it would ease the sciatica I had going on and I purchased it based on the reviews. I ended up having back surgery-but even after that, I found it too stiff for me so I bought a different brand. That may work well for some, but it wasn’t for me. It is well made and looks as it if would hold up nicely.

After years of using my worn out cushion that I had before (that crappy black one from Bed Bath & Beyond lol) & w getting into a full-time office job.The support for my injured hip & odd shaped tailbone was needed more than ever before! 8 long hours on those darn uncomfortable desk chairs. I was skeptical about buying at first, but loved how sleek & well thought of the design / features this product was given.The moment it came in the mail, I put it on my TILE FLOOR & sat down on it for the ultimate test! The minute I felt NO PRESSURE on my tailbone & the tension relief on my lowerback, I literally said "WOW" out loud. I felt like my butt was floating on a cloud.I finally took it to work & gave it the 8 hours test at the office; made my back have so much LESSER pain from before.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!I got it for a steal at $25 compared to other sites, but the price is worth it either way!

Unfortunately, this didn't work for me because I wear shorts a lot and my bare upper legs touch the very rough fabric. After 1 hour of sitting in it, I had a mesh pattern print on my legs and they hurt. I think the pad overall was okay but I can't use it because of the fabric. My old pad has a very soft cover and is very comfortable but worn out.

Suprisingly comfortable and portable. Supports my whole upper body in a relaxed, balanced position. My formerly constant pain has been reduced by at least 80%. I never thought such a thing was possible. I'm ordering another, for my car. Highly recommended. Update, this leader after one week of use I bought two more of these fantastic support cushions. I now have one in my car, and for the first time instead of Simply sitting on my seat, I'm actually sitting cradled in my car seats. So now, I have one at my desk, in my car, and one that I used to take with me whenever I go to the movies, or any place I need to be able to sit comfortably. Very light, very portable, very durable. A 5 + * product.

YEAH bought the bamboo cushion last year what a joke with in 20 min my back was knotting up behind the wheel driving got this one a few months back where as the bamboo cushioin feels like sitting on a pile of wet newspapers THIS ONE night and day one of the many reasons this works softer and firmer thick in the back narrower in the front takes the "wedge" effect out of many car seats which is huge player in back pain while driving also when using this cushion till your driver seat back a little and slide the seat forward to compensate for the increased distance

I am sorry I bought this, and now it is too late to return it. I kept using it even thought my front areas were getting squeezed by the "horn" that is in the front of this cushion. Then, I couldn't take it anymore and stopped using it. I have thought a few times of cutting out the entire front section, but have yet to do that. In the meantime, my pelvic floor therapist showed me how to make a better seat cushion out of a rolled up towel. I am also using stacks of socks that I am sitting on, one stack on either side of my tush. At least now, my man parts are not getting crushed. Otherwise, I feel like this was $25 down the drain. It's not poorly made, but might be better suitable for a female than a male.
