This vacuum sealer is a good value for the money.. it seals pretty well.. the bags that they send with it.. they should just go in the garbage and wevac bags purchased..they are value brand too but remain sealed. it is good for vacuum sealing soup because of the seal only option..If you are using the vacuum part the gentle vacuum is good for meats because all the juices pull towards the top of the bag sometimes the juices hinder the seal. I use it for freezing and sous vide. It is a great sealer for those. I also vacuum seal left over baking items.. shredded coconut..chocolate chips nuts..it has been a godsend. I got it at a sale rate I think I paid 40.00 for it and it has already saved me that in wasted food..

This works, as advertised. We actually tried another but had trouble sealing things. After that, we bought a food saver from Sam's Club. When we got home, I did not see the model number and I called because I did not want to buy something that was already obsolete. The customer service at Food Saver is the worst i have encounter in my may, many decades on this planet. His comments were "Don't worry about it." "They will probably give you some sort of credit it breaks, " then finally, "You should just return it and buy a different brand" So I did and I bought this online instead (for about half the price, too).

So I’ve been searching for a replacement for my 20 year old FoodSaver that does not vacuum seal anymore. I came upon this one and read the reviews and watched the videos and thought I try it out. It was delivered this evening and I went to town and started sealing everything. It’s a compact smaller sealer than what I had before, which was nice but it was also nice having a place for the bag rolls and built in cutter. So you give up a little for the size. This machine came with 5 small and large bags to use which was nice until I used one for some shredded chicken. It had some juice in it so I purposely dried the sealing edge cause it won’t seal if it’s wet. So I sealed it and it seemed ok but shortly after, it lost the vacuum and the food started moving around. Tried another bag and it did the same thing. So I pulled out my FoodSaver bags and it worked much better. My advice is to invest in the FoodSaver bags but save money by buying this unit. As you can see I’m trying salad and broccoli. I’ll see if they spring back to life when I’m ready to use it. Now onto the “cutter” that it came with, it’s like one of those letter openers but worse. It’s virtually useless. I’m spoiled by my old unit that had a slider cutter built in but again, give up a little. So I just use my kitchen shears and it works just fine. Overall, so far, for the price point, it’s not bad at all. It’s about $50 with their discount.

We have wanted a vacuum sealing since we started grilling out more at home (Covid!!). So to really push marinades/rubs into the various meats, we vacuum seal them. This sealer works great (only had for a couple of weeks) and has the flexibility to pull are hard vacuum on drier goods and a lighter vacuum on moist goods. You can also manually control the machine. It does not slip anything into the bag so you need the ridged type of bags to be able to pull a vacuum. As most sealing bags have ridges, this is not an issue. We have not tried the canister feature yet. Will update if we do.

I have never used vacuum sealers before. I thought it would be a great addition to our kitchen gadgets. This turned out to be a handy thing to have if you plan to store some produce for a ling time. Literally for anything, from berries to meat to dry foods. It is easy to use, comes in great packaging with extra bags. And, of course, the design is modern - looks great.

The media could not be loaded.  Tape was fallen off the box from top and bottom, which loosen the box. Luckily nothing was missing. Had to find video on how to use vacuum sealer because instruction is not clear about. Also it says You can put roll of bags inside and there is no way You can do it. description says it comes with a bag cutter. It comes with a small cutter that you hold It in your hand and I wanted actual size bag cutter, so it goes from one end to another. I tried all functions and it does not vacuum all the air out of the bag. All the bags I did were not fully out of an air which shortens the storage time. Bought it because reviews were good, highly recommended, and 5 star rating.

This worked great. Just vacuum sealed about 20lbs of smoked salmon. No issues. For as little as I use this thing, for $35.00 it is just fine. Really easy to use at a big discount from the name brand. Higher recommended!

It is a bit flimsy and the side locks don't work too well. All in all, it has an easy learning curve that seems to be mandatory if you want it to last.
