Yikes, there's a lot of bad reviews here complaining that it's a sweet drink. It says it's sweet. And the description even has a picture showing the sugar content. Someone scours the listing to find "dairy free", doesn't find it anywhere, and then gets mad because they ordered it anyway, and it's not dairy free! I feel like people are ordering a hammer and complaining that it doesn't work with their screws.So let's review it for what it is. It's a dessert drink. I don't mind the sweetness too much, although I don't have much of a sweet tooth, so I'd probably have preferred if the flavor stayed the same and the sugar was cut by about 30%. Still, as an occasional treat I'd take this chai latte over a hot chocolate any day. It is pretty expensive at $15 per tin, but the convenience is hard to deny. I didn't even bother with a kettle; microwave a little water, mix in the powder, add milk, and heat it again to taste.If you like a sweetened chai latte, I'd say this is definitely worth trying out.

Rich and delicious, this chai mix is skillfully spiced and it creates a satisfying, excellent tasting beverage. It can be used to make a hot, cold or frozen chai drink. Preparation is quick and easy and unlike liquid mixes this product is shelf-stable so there is no carton that after opening requires refrigeration and must be used within a certain number of days. I prepared the latte recipe on the back of the tin using 2 ounces hot water, 3 tablespoons of the mix and 9 ounces unflavored almond milk. Using a whisk to thoroughly combine the mix and hot water ensures no lumps. There are stated to be 47 servings—3 tablespoons each—in the 16 ounce container.For people with sensitivities note the product does contain soy and the ingredient list is long and worth reading. To estimate shelf-life the Best Before date on this canister is 9 months in the future but dates will vary. Convenient and delectable.

This Chai Latte Mix is actually quite tasty! I'm also a newbie to any Chai Tea product. The Spices used in this powdered mix create a marvelous blend of delicious flavors. There's cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, ginger, anise, besides sugars to contrast the spiciness. Of course there's black tea and plenty of milks to round out the interesting and full-bodied flavor. So far, I've tried it hot yesterday afternoon as a soothing and comfy cup of Latte. Hot water, 3 T mix, hot milk. Today I was outside and it was hot, so needed something cool to drink and cool down. Fixed it the same as the hot, but with cold water, cold milk, and ice cubes, so refreshing. This mix comes in a nice metal tin, with enough for about 47 servings if using the recommended 3 Tablespoons per a 12 oz. cup. It's a sugary, spicy, delicious, milky tea drink to be savored with joy! This will not be my last time experiencing this decadent and flavorful treat.

I expected this to have that sickeningly sweet taste of those General Foods International Coffees powdered mixes that were so popular back in the early 1980s. But I love a good cup of chai, so I took a chance. Happily, this stuff is actually only mildly sweet and, because they don't use artificial sweeteners, there's no lingering unpleasant aftertaste. Of course, it's sweetened with corn syrup which is, arguably, the least healthy of the sugar derivatives, but as a treat, I see no harm indulging in the occasional cuppa. My only complaint is that the flavor is extremely mild. In order to achieve a truly potent, spicy chai taste, I had to use almost twice the recommended amount of powder for a 12 ounce cup of tea. But all in all, a convenient and tasty afternoon treat.
