Q: Will it clean and restore threads on hose end? (not just faucets )

Yes, it will chase hose end threads. That is what I bought it for. If the hose end is male thread and either mineralized or dull from the ground, it will work. If your male thread hose end is bent, thin, and misshaped it will not help.

Q: can mr thread cleaner restore what appears to be ronded threads on frost free hose bibb. If not, what tool will restore the threads ?

I used it to clean or what is commonly referred to as "Chase the Threads" on all my hose bibs. Some were 30 years old and very difficult to spin the nut on a garden hose on. After "Chasing the Threads" with this tool they all work like new. A 15" adjustable wrench works good. Be sure to apply some oil to the threads before you start. This is a great tool.

Q: Will this product fit on a standard 3/4" washing machine hookup?

It should as long as the threads are 3/4 GHT (garden hose thread) 11.5 TPI (threads per inch). An easy way to tell would be to take one of the hoses to a outside garden hose hookup and see if if threads on. I would be careful with the tool and use it only to clean up threads or to remove some light scaling. You could break your line if your not careful. If its heavy scaling, use a wire brush first and make sure the line is not going to break by maybe using pliers or pipe wrench if needed.
