Really well made manicure items. German engineering. Compact and cute leather pouch ... easy to keep in your purse to repair that occasional broken nail. Worth purchasing for yourself or as a gift.

I liked the little red leather case too

I own a few pairs of nail scissors, and I think this set is a pretty good value. I would rank Dovo scissors as the highest in quality, followed by Erbe (especially their micro-serrated version), and then 3 Swords. The finishing on these isn't quite as good, but they work very well, and they're better than anything you'd find at a drugstore. This particular kit is really nice because of the slim case, which protects the items in a pocket or bag. The file isn't as nice as a crystal file, but I'm sure it would survive being dropped better than a crystal one, and it works.
