I’ve tried all kinds of fly traps, and these are by far the best!

I put all of them up and don’t have a single fly in them and the bowls fall out. Waste of money

When I opened the package, I said, "This is cheap and will never work." How wrong I was!These work amazingly well. I filled the bowl about 2/3 up with water, a little dish soap to break the surface tension and added in some very bad salmon that was hiding in the back of the fridge. It does take some finagling to get the bowl to rest in it's harness. Three hands are always easier than 2.It took a day or two to start to attract them. It snowballed after that. Just make sure you keep adding water every few days.I've added a photo to show you how much it's caught. I empty it out about halfway every couple of weeks. It is tough to unload of dead stuff. A screwdriver is useful to keep unplugging the hole. The bonus to the open mesh and wire construction is that the flies and wasps and hornets mummify in the sun so there's no ooze or smell (other than your bait).And, you get 8 in a pack! Great bargain.

The bowl is a little close to the bottom so it is hard to fill. Other than that it works as good as the more expensive ones of the same type. It does not come with a bait recipe, but you can get one online rather easily. This type of trap seems to be disposable, but it can be emptied through the hole on the bottom.Excellent value for the money compared to other brands. I have trapped mosquitos, flies, wasps, and other flying things.

Mine didn’t have the bait in it

would work if the bait was INSIDE the trap.All it does is attract flies and the just eat the bait!Only the occasional odd one goes inside,worked so poorly, I used 5 of them for a week, caught about a dozen flies each.I just threw them out!

Once you find the right bait.. these work great. Got them for my daughter's farm. After 1 day had at least an inch of flies in it!! Only thing I don't like is the small container for the bait. It tips to easy and then that smell is all over the ground. Dogs Love the bait smell and roll in it!!!! I had to but the fly trap bait to get them to work. Then a big wind came and blew them off the poles they were on...so big big mess. Concept is great...need to work on the design more.

Worked perfectly! I see some failure reviews in the past and I would suggest use the proper bait. Basically things with a lot of protein and get rotten with stinky smell work the best. I used Raw shrimp head, raw chicken. One tip is to dig a few holes on the bait container to prevent it from being filled by rain water.Bought more for my Cottage yard.

If you bait these traps properly, they work excellent. I initially used an egg mixed in some water, and it caught tons of flies. Since I have dogs, I switched to swapping in some fresh dog poo in the tray every day, and it filled up within a month.
