great to use on travertine
i use this pad on my travertine tile as a pre-polisher.i just couldn't get the shine back that I knew was hidden somewhere.Finally had success using this advertised pad as a pre-polishng pad & got the results i needed.here are the steps i use-scrub travertine tile with the beige (union) brush & ph balanced cleaner - rinse-then use the red pad with water to go over the clean tiles - wipe up-then the beige pad (shown here) with water (pre-polish)-then go over the tiles again with the white pad & water (polish) - wipe up and final rinse-use the bonnet if using a polish-then lamb's wool to buffI hope this helps.

Good for bringing some shine back to marble
It seems good, but not excellent for polishing my marble floors. I have quite the project ahead of me and tested out my laundry room to see how my floors would turn out. I purchased this pad, the white polishing pad and some tenax powder. Overall my marble floors are definitely shinier, but they don't have the super high gloss like shine quite yet. I just purchased the green pad to start with so see if that buffs out some of the scratches in my marble a bit more.

Stone Good Pad
I bought this pad as an extra for the one that came in the Oreck Stone Floor Cleaner Kit. I was thinking the other one would wear out quick, however that was not the case. I have Travatine Stone Floors and this pas made a difference.

Poor Quality Product
This one makes more mess by spreading its own threads. had to vacuum after using it to mop my floors. Poor Quality Product.
