Sprinkler Timer, Water Timer, 3 Individual Digital Irrigation Programmable, Hose Watering Timer with Rain Sensor/Child Lock/Auto & Manual Watering Mode/IP65 Waterproof, Garden Lawn Hose Faucet

This product exceeded my expectations. It actually came with a manual that made sense, but reading it quick, I didn’t even have to look at it again. Your mileage may vary, I work in IT.I had two Melnor digital sprinkler valves that I had only used for the manual timed setting. When I installed sod and also have a trip coming up, I found that my old digital valves and many other basic onesndon’t offer an end time on their program, and intervals that jump from 6 to 12 hours. You either have to water at like 5am and 5pm, or 7am and 1pm and 7pm, both of which are bad combinations that would leave my sod too dry during the hot daytime peak, and too wet at night.This one and other ones with at least three different programs can do what I wanted. I setup 6:45, 11:45, and 2:45 daily times and I can customize the duration of each schedule too! I looked at the wifi ones, but that seemed overly complicated (how many years before it fails or support ends) and some of them you couldn’t even manually water from without your phone/smart device to control it.

Everything works great except 2 things. (1) the pressure gets low going through this timer and sprinklers become anemic, and (2) the rain sensor doesn’t seem to work as it was literally sprinkling during heavy rain the other day. Otherwise, the timer and control and all the rest work as intended.

Bought approximately 1 month ago and had trouble getting the programming down..... I set it up for “7 day” watering (so I thought), by setting the “how often” buttons to #7..... yeah, don’t do that as it means every 7th day, which wasn’t going to work for obvious reasons.Played with it as I sat in my lounger to find out when ”I” was doing wrong, and discovered that if I use #1 rather then #7 it means “daily” to get what I desired for an every morning watering.Spose It’s explained in the booklet but I never liked using them as they usually take forever, & typically don’t explain clearly. 🤷🏼 Totally my fault but it’s cleared up and working as designed now, so don’t be that guy!No more hoping the neighbor kids are available to hire when we leave home for a few day’s.Haven’t had rain to find out if the sensor shuts it down on those day’s, but suspect it’ll do what it’s supposed to, as long as the overhead allows it to “be rained on”, and I believe our situation will.

The timer control system was easy to program and had all the necessary features. However the water valve failed after the return period expired. It’s now a brick. The battery powered solenoid operated as programmed but the system uses some kind of water pressure diaphragm that is unreliable. I took it apart and could find no damaged components. It still failed after reassembly. I replaced it with a different brand that appears to have a proper mechanical valve. That is, you can hear it solidly open and close.

It works well and is fairly easy to set up. But it must be installed upright. It has vent holes in the bottom that will let in water (rain and sprinkler) if it is not.If your faucet is low like mine is you can't just mount it to your faucet.If you want to put it at the end of a hose in a far garden, you have to mount it to a stake to hold it upright.These make it difficult for me to use.

I have been using the same timer for my garden for over 10 years, but it finally died. I tried replacements from the big boxes and wasn't happy. Some didn't have enough power to shut the water off after a cycle. Others didn't have the ability to set multiple programs, just every 6 or 12 hours. This unit is heavy. It feels like the internal parts are substantial. I'm a little disappointed that the hose fittings are plastic, but at least they aren't flimsy. Most importantly, it works. It also has 3 separate programs so I can give my tomatoes a good soaking in the morning and a shorter watering in the hot afternoon. So far, so good.

When I first tried this timer, it leaked when not set to manual (bypassing the timer). I flipped the mesh filter upside down (the pointed part of the mesh down into the timer, not up toward the faucet), and now it works perfectly with no leaking.Setting the timer for watering was not that hard to figure out. (Figuring out how to turn it off completely and back on was less intuitive, but the instructions explain.)It works like a charm! I'm ordering a second one right now for the faucet in my backyard.

Good product serve it purpose

El producto llegó antes de tiempo, bien por eso. La calidad se ve bien. Desafortunadamente sólo llegó el equipo la cinta teflón y el o ring los demás adaptadores no. Deben tener más cuidado en su empaquetado.
