Earl Grey and Eng Breakfast, nice teas. Peurh tea did not seem a good choice for a set
I drink a lot of tea and recently made a major effort over the last 6 months to not only try as many as possible but I have cataloged (on a spreadsheet no less) all the ones I liked. In doing this I can share if it is typical for me to like or dislike something, or if it is a poor rendition of a favorite.Earl Grey falls under a favorite and I have had many variations of it as well from many sources. English Breakfast is another. For me Pu-erh tea is a lesser known tea. Numi has a Chocolate version that I tried and I considered it average when it came to likes. A 4 out of 7.Ingredients of the included teas.Earl Grey tea:**** Organic Black Tea**** Organic Bergamot OilEnglish Breakfast**** Organic Black TeaCocoa Mint Puerh**** Organic Peurh Tea,**** Organic Cocoa Shell,**** Organic Carob Pod,**** Organic Peppermint Leaf**** Organic Vanilla ExtractTasting all 3 of these multiple times. I have been quite pleased with the Earl Grey and the English Breakfast. However the Cocoa Mint Puerh, seems to be a very weak tea. I know from having the prior Numi one, it was not a favorite of mine, but I find it too faint almost to give a strong opinion. Each time I have had Peurh tea it has been with a Cocoa flavor, so I don’t know what it tastes like alone. But in this cup of tea, I can taste the Cocoa, but it is a watery cocoa flavor. I get a hint of mint modifying it and maybe a tinge of vanilla. But, I’m really grasping. This is a weak tea.One thing I wondered too, was why was this included in a bundle of black tea? The Earl Grey and English Breakfast were a given, but the Puerh tea with Cocoa and Mint do not seem to fit.

I love this tea
Choice English Breakfast tea is one of my favorites. I could drink it every morning for breakfast and regularly do. It is a rich, robust flavor and works well with my splash of milk added to it. This is a brand I know and trust so I thought it would be fun to try new flavors.I am not as big of a fan of Earl Gray but many people are. This Earl Gray has a rich bergamot flavor and, if you like that, it is quite good. It also stands up to a splash of milk. The Chocolate Mint Puerh has more of a minty flavor than chocolate. I wish it were the other way around. However, it is a nice satisfying drink on its own and I like its delicate mint flavor. It is one I would enjoy best after dinner. This is the tea brewed in the green cup. It isn’t quite as dark of a brew as the other two teas in this set.I like how Choice teas rates the caffeine levels on the boxes. I brewed each pf these according to their directions at the proper water temperature, which I think improves the taste and flavor.I also trust the quality of their bags over some other companies based on my research.

nice assortment
Choice Organics - Organic Black Tea Variety Pack Sampler is perfect: the flavors are strong and robust and can be enjoyed hot or brewed as "sun tea": we put a couple tea bags in a jar of cold water and let it steep/brew in the sun and there's something extra special about it :)All flavors are lovely, but cocoa mint is probably the most unique and my current favorite.

Premium tea flavor
I'm more of a traditionalist when it comes to teas. Black teas are my standbys and English Breakfast and Earl Grey are my favs. I didn't care for the chocolate mint version - just personal preference.I like that these teas are organic and the flavor was rich, well balanced and smooth tasting. I found that they brewed amazingly well in as little as 2 minutes - probably due to the fine grind. I typically brew at around 190 degrees and use distilled water. I would only max out at 3 minutes of brew time. When I inched up to 4 minutes they became bitter. If you're in it for the caffeine, I was told by a tea expert at one of the world recognized brands that all the caffeine comes out in three minutes... no more. So, it would have to be a rare occurrence for me to lengthen the brewing time and add bitterness. My only regret is that the Earl Gray didn't carry a stronger flavor of bergamot after it was brewed. It was barely detectable. The Earl Grey would have been so much richer with a double dose of bergamot.

The cocoa-mint-pu'er tea spoiled this set... for me and as a gift option...
I really love tea, as does the other half. The Earl Grey and the "English Breakfast" tea changed his mind on western tea. The tea was strong enough to steep twice and tasty, as expected. The price of about 16USD for 48 teabags is about what is expected of a decent tea... nothing special, just about right.Unfortunately, they decided to package cocoa-mint pu'er in the set. While the other two are more of a typical tea for any occasion, this one is an odd "hipster" type of tea. It must be made for those that like mint chocolate chip ice cream, though it does not taste the same. I tried it anyway hoping for a surprise result, knowing that neither of us like mint chocolate chip ice cream. It was still not palatable... though maybe worse in some ways as the mint was stronger and it took more to wash the flavour away. I like mint with lamb and I like chocolate... I just do not like them together. Needless to say, this flavour went in the trash as we did not find anyone we knew who even wanted to try it.If the vendor wanted to make a nice set for a gift or for a real tea drinker, they failed with the addition of this non-standard, specialised tea. While the other two were very good, this one dragged down the value of the set from a taste perspective and even as a gift. I would rate it four stars, but the cocoa-mint tea makes the set only three stars. As always, your mileage and preferences may vary...

Good Tea Selection
This is a good selection of tea in tea bags. They are all flavorful & taste “fresh”. The Earl Grey & English Breakfast are both very good breakfast teas & the Cocoa Mint Puerh makes a good after dinner or afternoon treat tea.
