I use these thin leads in AKC conformation show classes. Strong enpugh to hold the dog yet easily folds up in my hand.

This is the perfect leash to show a dog. It is lightweight. It disappears against the dark coat. It is soft and excellent for the ring.

I have a cane corso. Trainer said touse a slip lead like this because it works better than a collar and large leash. He was right. It works well.

I purchased this for a showmanship class for my daughter to show her husky. It is great quality and very attractive.

Have papillions and this lead is to short

Don't buy this, a tennis shoe lace is thicker than this. I bought the medium size 48" In length. it is too short because it is the full length including handle. I bought this to pass my puppy at the airport at TSA where not metalis allowed, he is on training for that but I wouldn't trust this "leash" and again is too short. So for my purposes I would give 0 stars if I could. I ended up spending the same amount of money by doing something completely better and without any metal and it is 8ft long (leash in beige)

None of the others who reviewed this leash know what they're talking about. This is quite clearly a show lead meant for showing dogs in conformation - and for that purpose, it is absolutely perfect. You want a show lead to be as minimal and invisible as possible. One reviewer mentioned that the collar area is "sewn" and "not as pictured" when it clearly IS as pictured and they just didn't slip the handle through the small loop like they're supposed to.
