I don't normally leave reviews, but when it comes to something like this I felt it was important to share so that someone else could hopefully find the same relief I have. I'm an almost 400lb man and I'm average height which means with my weight I can no longer reach areas of my body and in order to do so I have to wrench my body in to uncomfortable and harming ways. I was causing severe back problems by putting 1 leg up on my bed and then wrenching over to get socks on until my back finally gave out one day and I was immobilized for several days. I knew I need to find a better method for putting socks and shoes on. I found this amd bought it as well as a long shoe horn. 5 stars for this it is very easy to use, and becomes very quick once you get the hang of it.

This retired engineer was skeptical about about all the sock aids but a knee injury made me try this one. It is not perfect but it definitely solves the problem. I just recommended it to a brother-in-law.

It does the job and gets your socks on. Comfortable.

I am recovering from a spinal cord injury. As I improve I add tasks to my daily list. The O/T at the hospital gave me a very study sock helper. The problem was I had a very had time putting the sock on it. It was more work then trying to put my socks on manually. This item looks cheap. However it is worth more then it's weight in gold. Being able to bend the helper to push the socks over is GREAT. It's lasted for over a month and I am starting to do my socks by hand now. I would highly recommend. If it does break for you, it's worth the cost to buy another. It works that well.

I purchased this to assist in my recovery from hip replacement surgery. I won't be allowed to bend enough to put on socks or shoes on my left foot for quite some time. This stocking aid works very well. Along with a long shoe horn, it helps me to be independent in getting myself dressed and ready for the day.

Wish I would have bought this years ago. It has helped me to wear socks again.

This is a great product. I should of gotten something like these a couple of years ago. I can't say enough how this product has made my life easier.

This product does what it says. It has been an excellent aid for the person who received it. It is only as good as the operator, however! For those this large leg size, it works well but might be a little tricky at times when used too hurriedly.
