Amazing Grass Powder Pineapple Lemongrass Flavor, 30 Servings, 7.4 Ounce (1 Count)

After one month of using the pineapple flavored version I am happy with my purchase and the results.The powder is a dark green color and smells like wheat grass at first pass. Do not let the smell fool you the pineapple taste is the dominant flavor with a hint of lemon when you drink it. The flavor reminds me of some of the pineapple flavored candy I used to get as a kid and tastes pretty good mixed with half water and half apple juice. I found the trick was to pour about 3oz of water, add the scoop, mix for 10 seconds then add another 4-5oz of apple juice and stir for another 20sec. I would drink it quickly and find very little settling on the bottom of the glass.The appearance of the powder can be deceiving as your are tasting pineapple/apple juice as you drink a grassy green liquid but once you overcome this mole hill you will be good to go.Results: I have always taken a multivitamin so I didnt see the uptick in energy like some other reviewers and I chose this one specifically because of the lower iron content. (Too much iron causes stomach issues for me if its not from spinach/meat) After one week I noticed improved a more normal digestion pattern and like I was "cleaner" for lack of a better term. The second week I decided to quit coffee and see what would happen. After a 2 day caffeine crash I was back to normal and off the coffee. Now after my 4th week I am maintaining the 1 scoop a day and continue to feed good as I order my second container.The one negative I will add is that if you do not eat something soon after taking it, you may notice some unpleasant breath. You can thank my wife for this piece of wisdom.WARNING: If you take other wheat grass, digestive supplements or drink additional unfiltered wheat drinks (even some beers) be prepared for some more aggressive digestion the next day. No pain or discomfort but rather ease of doing business.In the future I will try some other flavors and look forward to continued success.

Found out why this is being discontinued or I've not been able to find it regularly. A Grass was sued out west for high levels of lead in the products.They agreed to stop the production of several products. But didn't specify which in the lawsuit I read online.My guess is Pineapple Lemongrass is one of the varieties that bit the dust.Ever since this was running out and not delivered and my stockpile has diminished I searched and found Athletic Greens is comparable.I don't need to mix as many varieties as I did with Amazing Grass. I'd always have at least four scoops including PL to get multiple nutrients.I'm incredibly bummed about the lawsuit loss. Especially since I've consumed so much of this over the last decade. Wondering what the long-term effects of lead are if the conclusion is true and will impact me as I age.Switched to ⭐️ because the company lost the lawsuit and my sub and save was canceled again. Time to move on.I've taken the Athletic Greens for over a month now and it's been going great. Though the Ashwagandha root does make me uber mellow. Takes a bit of getting used to this. Otherwise, for anyone who needs a replacement something to consider. I'm bummed it is discontinued.Taken this for at least a decade in combination with other AG SFWG products in a pitcher filled with 64 oz of water, Italian organic lemon, and apple cider vinegar added for flavor.The nutrients on this flavoring supplement are similar to a multivitamin. Of which I discontinued taking because in part that came within the pineapple lemongrass flavor.I'm guessing with covid supply chains and such this is yet another item that's going to the wayside.I still have the other variety to mix each morning. But will be exploring either other brands or daily supplement means for gaining the daily balance.I use to buy a year's supply when on sale via amazing grass. Then, found on Amazon we signed up for monthly delivery.I've got one 30 days left. I remember when there were no more 100-day options and buying bulk from GNC a few years ago.Now, extinction.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💯

I really like the stuff. The taste does take a little to get to and it looks like sewage, but I quickly got over both. I always hated taking vitamins in pill form no matter how small, and this drink makes it seem more like a smoothie. Once it’s blended it’s very smooth and not thick at all. The only negative I’d have to say is that if it sits for any length of time, it all settles to the bottom and you have mix it throughly again. But that’s no big deal. I was worried when I saw the small container and thought that I’d be constantly ordering it all the time, but the one scoop a day has lasted me way past the 30 (or so) day quantity it suggests - and I only take it once a day. I recommend this to anyone who wants a drink instead of pill(s) and I’m going to going with it.

This is my favorite. I am not sure about the other reviews referencing the taste as I understand I am drinking “greens” and that it most likely will not taste like fruit punch. Unfortunately, this is not 30 servings as advertised but 14-15 servings is more like it. I purchase 2 a month. This is why only the 4 stars. This is by far the best tasting greens I have found. It also help in keeping me regular. I drink this every morning and will continue to do so as it is really great for the body all around. Cannot live without it.
