I wanted to love this laptop desk. It looks nice, and the elastic and pencil/phone holder is helpful so I don’t lose my things in the couch. Unfortunately, it reeks of chemicals. It took me a few days after Christmas (as we had several new items hanging around) to figure out where the awful smell was coming from and why I had a headache for a few days in a row. Then I actually looked at the consumer tag, which informs us that the filling is 100% polystyrene. So I was breathing in these toxic fumes for hours at a time while using the item. Great. For those who wonder why that’s a deal-breaker, polystyrene is a carcinogen. We have enough of those around us; is it too much to ask that my couch/bed be a haven from carcinogenic toxins?!?I’m hoping I can find a comparable item that meets my needs and isn’t filled with toxic material. If not, instead of returning it I will cut the fabric, dispose of the filling safely, cut a memory foam pillow that I don’t use to fit inside, and stitch the fabric back up.

Perfect size for laptop and iPad work area and easy to lift from room to room. Doesn’t take up too much space and appears well made. Was a good present for my daughter for her studies.

Present for grandchild- cheap looking and not as good as anticipated. Will be extra careful about buying online in future.

This one was listed as used, at a reduced price and in "very good condition". However it had been dropped and two corners were smooshed in, the vinyl edging was split revealing the particle board underneath. Being handy I decided to keep it and do a repair with glue and paint. It is now functional with no more sharp edges to catch on anything. My dissatisfaction is due to the misleading "very good condition" the seller indicated.

Absolutely wonderful product, i love to sit on my couch and play on my computer. I have bad legs so this helps so this help so much to improve comfort. It’s full of some sort of beans which molds to your legs. It great, as you tilt the desk you can control how your lap top is viewed. The bar at the bottom keeps the laptop firmly in place. I would highly recommend this to anyone using a lap top on a couch or in bed.
