Ester-C® 250 mg Chewable Wafers 125

This product is the best vitamin C I have used. It is non acidic which is great. I have difficulty swallowing pills and this wafer makes it easy to get the vitamin C I need. It tastes nice too.Unfortunately, it is not always available. When available it ships free and arrives fast.

We love to take Chewable Vitamic C - and this brand with Ester-C is easier on sensitive tummy's. Our local health market used to carry this type, but changed to just capsules that are harder to swallow. Chewables work much better for us. Also - at 250mg, you can adjust your dosage - if you feel a cold coming on, just take a few more.

This is my first time buying it, so I have nothing to compare it to. Flavor is questionable. It has an extremely salty bite to it, followed by a pleasant orange aftertaste. My 6yo daughter will gag on them, while my 4yo son will eat them without hesitation. I'm pretty sure they work as intended, but my son's frequent canker sores haven't dimished after a month of taking them. I'm certain it helps in many other ways, so I will continue buying them. But, for my daughter, I'll have to search for another Vitamin C with better flavor.EDIT MAY/13: I discovered that if you suck on them instead, they are great tasting. I'm changing my review to 5 stars. Now, both my kids can have this great Vitamin C.

Always a great product and gluten safe. Rather tart and crunchy, best chewed with food. Vitamin C will eat away your tooth enamel so rinse well after use regardless of product. I've used 500 mg of C for twenty years now and it does help because when I'm sick I know it. I do believe it actually helps the gut somehow and I am celiac.

Taste well but keeps me awake at night

The only thing I didn't like about this product is how many I need to chew to get the dosage I need. They won't last me long. Pretty sure I goofed up on this one but they taste okay and I'm hoping that I will get better absorption with this. Sure seems like I would. The ones I usually buy are really hard and I have wondered how much I absorb of those since they are so hard and I have absorption issues. These are so much softer that I would think you might not need as many with these. Not certain how to determine that however.

I had to find a gluten-free chewable, low-dose Vitamin C tab and this has been the winner! I've already bought several more bottles and will be on this as long as I can get it. No stomach discomfort even at 4 tabs per day. Very pleasant taste and no after-taste or grit. Works great for its intended use. Great product!

I have used Ester-C products for years with excellent results. Its non-acidic formula is easy on the stomach. I highly recommend the Ester-C products.
