Very efficient. I love the little metal tray. So easy to clean if necessary. No filters! The point being that others have filters which need replacing and what if the supplier goes bust? I have used a mixture of Lavender/Lemon/Tea-tree and Peppermint for deodorising/freshening. It started diffusing almost immediately. The smell wasn't faint, although I do use essential oils and not fragrance oils, so can't vouch for a lesser product. I bought this for the spring/summer when I don't want to be using candles in an oil burner. It's a bit pricey, I think, but I won't be spending money on candles, so swings and roundabouts! It sticks out about 3 and a half inches. On the downside, I personally don't like the bludy,green colour. Would have preferred all white. Maybe I can paint this off. But have still given 5 stars because I saw the colours before I bought and I am commenting on the efficiency of this. In a large room you would possibly need two. Though it would depend how long you wish to keep it turned on. It's very easy to use and let me set the record straight on the plug situation. It has an English plug as shown in the picture. People have mentioned you need to buy a converter. You do NOT. Possibly the sellers have changed the product since those comments. I shall be buying one or two more, but I will probably have them a little out of the way unless I can paint out the colour. But I have a very traditional looking home and they have a modern look, so this is personal choice. I am quite a critical person and am not that easily impressed, so you can bear this in mind when making a decision whether to buy or not. I find the blue light helpful, but wouldn't want to see it in my bedroom, so plug it in out of sight if this would bother you. You can fill up to 5mls of oils. It has a 1 year guarantee. Definitely worth buying and worth 5 stars!

I searched high and low for one of these - I thought a DIY plug-in would be an obvious invention but this seems to be the only one on the market. It had mixed reviews but thought I'd give it a go. It's really cute and really well-made but I was so disappointed to find that it just doesn't work. I started out using a few drops of oil in water, as recommended in the instructions. I ended up filling it with just essential oil in the end but STILL, hardly any scent! There was a tiny bit but not enough to fill even a small room - compared to the candle oil burners, which fill a room with scent with just a few drops of oil in water. I think the problem is simple - the metal bowl inside doesn't get hot enough to properly disperse the scent. A fundamental flaw that probably should have been tested by the manufacturer.

I've been looking for a plug in diffuser that takes essential oils for a while now so was very pleased to find this one. It holds quite a bit of natural oils without being too obtrusive and is stylish to look at. I like that it turns itself off after a while so you don't end up with an empty diffuser burning away, and it's fairly easy to use. I might buy another one for another part of my house -- I've been using Neal's Yard natural oil blends and they make my house smell like a posh spa. My only qualm is that these come with EU plugs -- it's fine because I own about 12 adapters because I travel a lot, but make sure you had an adapter when you buy one of these (if you live in the UK).

I bought this so I could fill it with lavender oil to help me sleep. The 8 hour automatic timer is a great idea and it's silent, also great. However, it has a bright blue light when it's switched on. I've tried covering it up but the light is on the on/off switch so every time I use it I have to cover it up again, which isn't easy if you see the angle it's at. Unfortunately, I cannot use this at night as the light just disturbs my sleep so I am unable to use it for the purpose I wanted - frustrating

I love this burner so much! Easy to use and sanitary. The plate for oil drops is steel which is easy to clean and maintain. It works very well! I put maximum amount of oil and it lasts few days. I time to time add more drops whenever I remember. I think this is suitable for a studio or a bedroom, not a spacious room.
