Lucky I bought 2. First one broke when installing
I had a hard time finding this 28" tube (Sylvania 22527 - F25T12/CW/28 Straight T12 Fluorescent Tube Light Bulb).I ordered 2 to have a spare in the future. These lights usually last years for me but there was trouble with the first replacement I put in. It didn't light up. I had 2 new starters also (FS-25) so I replaced the first replacement starter. I was about to install the first tube again and noticed one terminal was bent. Looking closer I could see the black matrix that held and sealed the terminal had broken. The chip appeared to be very thin, maybe .025". Little wonder it broke. I tried my old tube again with the new starter, it flashed and flickered and was no good. I put in the 2nd new tube and lit right up and has worked for for 3 days since.
