Q: do these have a coating on them? I'm planning on making a water melon blender out of these... will the "silver" chip...or is it just metal?

They are smooth metal and don’t appear to have any coating. There may be a clear coating of some sort, I would recommend contacting the manufacturer

Without measuring, it's the same width and height of my other hangers. The wire is a little thinner, but strong enough.
