Very useful to keep the brain alive whilst relaxing or on a short or long flight.

Not just general knowledge
These crosswords have some general knowledge questions but a lot are asking for equivalent words rather than facts.

Old age hrlps.
It pays to be 90 with a good memory to pull ou some of the answers ie monarchy UK PMs & books which are no go areas in school these days.

Great value. Keeps the grey cells active.
I love these crossword books. They are really good value as there are 408 puzzles per book, I've also learned some new words and their meanings. These general knowledge ones are super too.

Not really general knowledge
Whilst there is a smattering of general knowledge questions I would hardly call it a genera knowledge crossword book. Most of the questions are standard "quick" or "synonym" questions which I can get at Sainsburys at half the price. Most of the general knowledge questions that are there tend to have a theme with a "key question" with the other questions leading off it. If you can't answer the the key question you cant answer the follow up questions. Got most of them so far but I am sure there will be quite a few I wont get. Still - interesting approach so I won't knock it. Overall I would say the questions are easy to medium.
