Scorpion Venom Polymeric Bow String Fluid
When it comes to bow string wax I was accustomed to the traditional way of rubbing on, then rubbing in with your fingers and a hair drier. Now the time has come to where you can put that drier away and no longer have to clean off your fingers. This wax is very simple to put on a string, but the key to making it work at its full potential is to remove the old wax before applying this. You can do this by taking a napkin and rubbing over an area of the string until it gets warm and comes off, then apply in a single swipe on both sides of the string. There is a sponge on the tip and just the right amount comes out without it drenching your string. It seems to have about 5 or 6 full applications to the entire string and cables of a compound bow. When applied it seeps deep into all the strands of the string and makes a protective coating when it fully dries, which takes about 30 min. If you want the full potential let it dry until it no longer appears wet. There is somewhat of a tacky feel to the string afterwards, but not nearly as bad as the regular wax. Overall for the convenience, quality, ease of use and install; this is the new way to wax your bow string and once you do you will never go back.

None of that old wax technology!
Works like a charm and nothing sticks to the bow strings. The classic wax is ok until you try this stuff, it's alot cleaner while maintaining it's lubricity.

This stuff is awesome. been using wax for over 20 years
This stuff is awesome. been using wax for over 20 years, and let me tell you, this is so much better, faster.simply rub it on and your done. No more waxing, then rubbing with a piece of leather to get it melted in, then having to draw a length of serving thread over it to remove the excess. what used to take 20 min of laborious work, is now 5 min of tender care for your string and cables. if I want to get extra jiggy with it, I simply place in my EZ-Press just enough to hold the bow, when finished rubbing it on, compress the limbs till the string goes slack, and rub one more time, let it soak overnight, then wipe off the excess with a paper towel. really makes the colors pop back to life. doesn't make the colors smear into each other like wax does, where was this stuff 20 years ago?
