Grimm's Wooden Rainbow Pastel (Pack of 12)

I am from Germany and I know this brand very well. I absolutely love it and would buy it always again and in every color!We raise our kid with Waldorf and Montessori lifestyle and no other company has good this quality without bad stuff in the colors.A lot of people buy wooden toys, cause they think every wooden toy is good, but it's not. The lacquer of a toy can cause cancer!Grimms don't use lacquer, just natural colors.It's made for the age of 0-100!Even my husband and I play sometimes with it!It's overpriced here... In Germany it's just 68,50€ what's like $76,41.You can find it cheaper on other pages, but still a lot more than in Germany.

Fabulous quality. Both my 3 year old and my 11 year old have fun using these to build with. My little one loves her rainbows and had to have this. It is very well made— not like the less expensive brands of these. The wood is very durable and the color is dyed so it won’t chip off.

We never played with these with dirty hands or in a dirty space but they still got very dirty fast and we’re not washable. They also appear to have mold on them now.

Love this...it looks adorable on a shelf for decor and both my children play with it often. I like seeing the different ways they find to be creative with it, great for open ended play! My two year old is not the most gentle either and so far no issues, its a quality well made product!

I love this toy so much, that I own two with different color schemes! I took the time to read up on this rainbow on Grimms website so when I received it, I wasn't surprised that the wood felt a little grainy instead of overly smooth or polished. The coloring is not paint and there is no glossy finish. It's matte and if you look closely, you can see the grain of the wood. The friction between the caused by the slightly grainy texture helps the pieces stay on top of each other so it's a good thing. The first time my son played with it, he got them dirty but that's no problem. They are easily cleaned (gently). Another thing people seem confused about is the "Made in Bosnia" label. Grimms explains on their website why they manufacture in Bosnia (as well as Germany).

This seems like a lot to spend on a toy but it is finely crafted in wood, not plastic. I bought it for my granddaughter's 4th birthday. There are so many ways to play with it. Adults enjoy it too and it looks nice on a shelf when not in use.

I really thought for the price that the paint used wouldn't chip/scuff so easily but other than that it's durable and a great toy.! I'd buy other sizes but in solid wood natural colors. The scuffs do not look good. And that's just from stacking them.

My kids all love this! A wonderful, beautiful, heirloom toy. Looks great on the shelf and encourages imagination. The pastel colours are just gorgeous. Perfect for all ages.
