Q: Is this a light shampoo? Do not like ones that weigh hair down or greasy.

I think you will be happy with this shampoo. it's the only one we use because it's that good. it is very thick. I have to add water so that it works evenly into the hair, and rinses more easily. however I was not happy with the Redken shampoo that comes in a pink bottle.

Q: Does this contain sulfites (SLS)?

So, SLS is Sodium Lauryl Sulfate which is not great. The ingredients list Sodium Laureth Sulfate which is SLES and while a much gentler sulfate, it is still a sulfate.

Q: I dye my hair medium brown but I get a lot of 'red' brassy colors does this shampoo help or what would anyone recommend

I dye my hair brown with red tones. The shampoo does not increase the red tones. It seems to me between colors that if anything the red tones lesson. I don't know if this is an impact of the shampoo or not. I really do like this shampoo and also the related conditioner. I believe they both keep my hair in good condition.
