Not really good quality
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. After researching to find a good bottle for my child to take to school, I ended up with this product. I received the bottle yesterday and immediately washed it according to the instructions it had and let it dry. Today, when I went to fill it with water to give to my child at school, the bottle was rusty in some places inside. My child and I were very upset because otherwise it seemed to be a very nice bottle. Today I arranged to return it.

A bit misleading, but still a good item.
The bottle itself is pretty good in terms of quality, but a few drawbacks here and there that really make me fault it enough to not give it five stars.First, the description is quite misleading. Hot drinks kept warm isn't exactly true, as there is a label on the bottle that specifically says to not put in anything above 60°C in it, which means it's very restrictive in the first place, as you can't even put boiling water or even a coffee above 60°C in it.Two, the drinking mechanism isn't very fast, and the straw further limits this, making it feel quite slow. Furthermore, because of the straw, you can't tilt the bottle for drinking and need to place it down on a flat surface and face down to drink it. That's very rigid, so the design isn't amazing. Allowing the mouthpiece to tilt towards the user to not have to face down on it would be a lot better.Three, after removing the straw, drinking was a bit easier, but because the design was to use it with the straw, you can't fully drink all contents without the straw or opening the lid as it gets "stuck" so that's quite annoying.Four, the lid is quite hard to clean with so many nooks and crannies, and there's no way to area from the mouth piece to the end of the lid where the straw connects, because the straw cleaner does not fit down it. This is quite a concern, since there's a bit of a bend in it and things can build up in it over time, even if you wash it everyday. On the plus side, the bottle with the straw is quite well designed and you can drink everything from the bottle with it, albeit a bit slow. There's a straw cleaning brush with the bottle, so you can clean the straw out without worrying it will be dirty.Doesn't leak as advertised and the drinking mouthpiece is covered by a cap which can then be locked to prevent it getting dirty.Overall, I'm quite happy with the product, but there are areas of improvement. £23.99 is a bit too expensive for it though, given the limitations. At this price, you can buy a high quality tumbler/flask that had less limitations and drawbacks, so until these issues are fixed, I can't see a definitive advantage of this over alternatives.

I found it hard to suck enough water from it
This review is for the FJbottle 316/304 Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated water bottle with straw, 550ml/710ml Bpa-Free double walled flasks for hot or cold drinks, reusable water flask leakproof for sport, work and travel£21.99 at the time of review.I like when the bottle has some fluid in it, it doesn’t fall over easily when knocked lightly, instead, it wobbles about on the rubbery base. I also like the lock that stops the cap opening and I like the little handle to hold onto it and the whole look and feel of the flask. The cleaning brush is a really thoughtful addition as well. One thing I noticed was the one I got for reviewing had a twisted seal inside the cap. It is a tight fit and I used the handle of a teaspoon to guide it around the ring. I thought it worth mentioning in case anyone else had trouble with the sealing ring. You can’t tilt the flask up to drink from, as the bottom of the straw will then be above the water, so you have to tilt it downwards a little and then more as you drain more from it. I managed to get some water from the bottle, but it was hard sucking to get enough into my mouth. I would much rather take the cap of a flask and pour in a mouthful at a time. Some reviewers say they take it while walking and it is easy to use one-handed. I can see this, but I would have to hold my head down to drink from it and this doesn’t feel at all natural or safe while walking or even less so while running.I don’t like having to suck the contents up instead of being able to pour a mouthful of water into my mouth. This flask is really well made, well thought out, is pleasant to hold and I would really like to like it. It also has nice touches like the straw and the lock to stop it opening and I would really like to give this flask top star ratings, but I simply can’t since the way you need to hold it, and the amount of force I needed to exert to draw up the water, simply doesn’t work for me.I’m giving this vacuum flask 4 stars dues to its quality and design features, and it must be the way I want to drink as no-one else has mentioned this, but I can’t recommend this.
