I've been a fan of glass files for years. This one works wonders! I like the colored glass and matching case. The case does seem to pop open now and again. It's not the top quality file I'm sure but it works wonderful and gets the job done nicely. I really like the benefit of glass, it always seems to leave a smooth edge on my nails. I use it on my fingernails as well as toenails. It is glass so I'm be careful and don't drop it on hard surfaces, that's how I broke my last one. The end is pointed so that helps with nail care. I have one at home and I carry one in my purse . It makes a good gift too ! If you've never used a glass file before I highly recommend getting this to try. It'll change the way you care for your nails!

I have weak nails that tear and break easily. Even the finest grit emery files always leave the edges slightly damaged, rough, and easy to snag and delaminate. The glass file literally leaves my nail edges as smooth as glass! And, I can now file in both directions, left to right and vice versa, so it is easy to get a perfect shape. This particular file is made of high quality Czech glass with a slim blade that fits easily under my nail rims and corners to create uniform clean smooth edges. It comes in a nice protective carrying tube so I can keep one in my purse without worrying about it breaking or poking holes in my purse lining. I can't comment on longevity yet, but as long as it's properly care for it should last quite a while. Highly recommend.

Edit 5.23.24:: I changed the rating to 5 stars from 1 because bona fide beauty reached out to me and offered me a full refund, plus a replacement nail file. They were super friendly and responded quickly. They also shipped the replacement within a day or so of contacting me, and it delivered today, which was about a day and a half or so from shipping. So it arrived very fast! Great customer service!I received this on April 4th, so it's been about a month and a half. I only used it about once every 2 weeks, or sometimes once a week. I was cleaning it off after filing my nails, and with very little pressure it snapped. I have an older one that bought years ago (from a different seller), that is nice and sturdy. Unfortunately, it's past the return or refund window, so I'm stuck with having paid for something that lasted a little over a month.

I paid extra for the beauty, but this crystal glass file is functionally superior and will last forever if it is not dropped and broken. The price was only double the amount of the glass crap sprayed with roughness sold at the beauty supply stores instead of Czech crystal glass nail files--one lasts forever and the other lasts a month before wearing out with its roughness removed in uneven streaks.This file is superior to all types of files as it can smooth the nail in any direction, not just one way only. It is so easy to use as a result. You can also get under the nails with it. It is 2-sided.

The paper files lasted no time for me, so this was a great change in regards to that. This one feels like it will last a long time (as the paper ones were always peeling and getting dull on me). I docked one star for the case — it’s pretty thin and flimsy.It definitely works and works well!

A must have for my nail regimen. I have been working on learning more about caring for and growing my natural nails. This is an absolute must have! Helps me prevent the ripping and tearing of my nails. Though there are inexpensive nail files (cardboard, etc)...the results you see and feel with your nails is noticeably different. Won't be going without this small luxury again!

Didn't think I would love this file as much as I do. Very effective and lasts forever. Regular nail files dull out quickly and they typically start shredding at the edges. This glass nail file is game changer and its very compact. Perfect for your purse.

This smoothly files my nails without splitting or cracking them. The case it comes in works well for storage & protects the file from damage while in my purse. I keep it in a small zippered bag in my purse so it’s available when I need it.

Got this for my mom for Mother’s Day, she had asked for a good nail file and I had heard the best to get was glass. She has been using it for the last two weeks and really likes it and says it works super well. It pretty colour and she loves that it comes in a case

Lovely nail file, shapes nails easily and quickly without visible wear on the file. Just washes off and looks new again.
