seriously....thomas the train, twin boys...best thing ever!kids received this from their grand mother and they love it. the characters look nice, have a decent build quality, and can def take a beating (though captain does not float as my son did try that. I was not actually expecting it to float as it does have wheels on it, but just thought I would mention that)

These diecast toys are extremely high quality. The moment you take them out of the box you feel the heft of the materials and can see the accurate paint job on each piece. These toys were clearly built to last and should be able to be passed on or kept for a lifetime.

WARNING: Do NOT work with Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway. I bought the wooden track and these pieces at the same time and was super disappointed to find they do not work with a branded, legit Thomas wooden railway. Although the trains themselves aren't wooden like the railway set (die-cast metal instead), they are well made so we are going to keep them in the diaper bag for restaurants and specials trips. Not sure if this is a first-time-mom mistake or a mishap from the manufacturer not putting a warning on the front of the box, but not happy I spent $$$ on these and they don't work as they should.

My toddler is a huge Thomas fan, and we purchased this package to give him small gifts over time. He really loves picking out a new train. My only complaint is that we have purchased different tracks and each one comes with a Thomas train, so now we have three of them.

My son absolutely loves these toys. My only reason for not giving this 5 stars is that the toys are a bit small and do not fit on wooden railways.

Was not what its thought out to be. This product does not fit on the wooden train tracks, they are small. It made me verry sad because that was the only point of purchasing this item. I have no way to get to a printer to get the mailing lable for return either 😞 nobodys fault but mine but seller should add that they are to small for wooden tracks!!!

I purchased these as a gift for my nephew. My son played with the wooden Thomas & Friends for many years and enjoyed them tremendously. I attempted to find a similar product in wood, but settled for these instead. The product came packaged with some slight 'smashing' of the outer box, but not to the item inside. Although these are die cast, some parts are plastic and I am wondering just how long they will hold up against a rambunctious young boy. But overall, it is the most common characters seen on the TV show so I think he will enjoy them/
