Rutabaga the Adventure Chef: Book 2: Feasts of Fury Paperback – Illustrated, May 3, 2016

Our family loved the two Rutabaga books. We wished there were more! Creative, exciting, weaving adventure with cooking with fighting, the books found a way to keep us all entertained and happy in our own way. Me, I was happy they were adventurous for my son without introducing words or behavior I'd hate for him to replicate. He loved the excitement and fighting (which was enough to be "cool" but not cringe-worthy for me). My husband loved the storyline and cooking theme and recipes. The proper grandmother declined to get this 2d book, but that just meant I got allll the credit I was owed instead of feeding great gift ideas to family members. Win all around!

My daughter LOVES Rutabaga! It is her current favorite graphic novel, and she cannot wait for the 3rd book. She has read and reread the 1st and 2nd Rutabaga book. I highly recommend this series for anyone who loves graphic novels, especially graphic novels that are funny, not violent, no foul language, great story line. It's hard to find graphic novels that are fun but doesn't contain a lot of violence for a young child.

The media could not be loaded. If you like Rutabaga the adventure chef book one you will love book 2. This book is well written and draws you in with the fantastic artistry and story line.

When I first saw this comic I was skeptical, but then when I started reading it, my opinion immediately changed. Its funny, interesting and amazing to read. Whenever I read these books I always get hungry and feel inspired to cook. The only thing I wish about this book is that the food in the book was real, it looks so good!

My son read these books in school and thought they were great so we started buying them for him. He likes them alot

This was a fun book that includes recipes for a child to make with a parent: some are easy enough to be done by themselves. A silly adventure with Rutabaga and a perfect book for any child, even mildly interested, in cooking.

My daughter and I love watching cooking shows and videos together. We also both love comic books. This combines both of those things into one great and funny package!

Great book. I think I liked it even more than the first. I particularly all the amazing recipes featured in the book. I wish these were meals I could really try.
