Update - I thoroughly check each badge reel before selling now and luckily I have not had another one reported broken in a long while. I am still keeping my eye out to try a different style of alligator clips but for now this has seemed to be one of the few bulk sellers for alligator clips I can find.These badge reels do not hold up for very long which is embarrassing when you sell badge reels. The plastic that connects the clip has broken within a week on multiple reels that I have sold.

I will definitely buy more. I use them to make and sell custom badge reels.

I re-purposed the badge holders for use as large-diameter pencil holders by drilling small holes in the pencils' ferrules below their erasers, spreading the metal clasps on the badge holders, removing the badge snaps and then re-compressing the clasps into the holes in the ferrules. Now, when wood working, I clip a pencil holder to my shirt and I always have a retractable marking pencil handy. I made a bunch of them for my wood working buddies . The pencil holders function perfectly.

These are made so well. I have bought other brands in the past, but I received many complaints about them. So I switched up and tried these. I haven't had any problems so far from any of my customers.

I have bought 100+ of these by now in all colors to sell custom reels. Overall they are great, especially for the price. The cord length is also superior to most of the other listings that I've come across, it has been hard for me to find any other reels whose cords run beyond 26" much less 34".I have only had issues with two reels. I always pull the reels to their max a few times before personalizing them to make sure they will hold up. Out of the 100+ I only had one (a white one) explode. I also had a client pull theirs (a black one) too far and now his hangs a little below the reel at rest. That's his own fault though lolI also don't like how the alligator part only has one tooth. Alligator clips usually have the seesaw tooth pattern which helps with stability. These clips only have one tooth at the very end and makes it a little less stable when hooked onto clothing.Overall these have been great for their price and you can't beat the reel length. I will continue to buy these.

I use these reels exclusively for my products that I sell at work and on Etsy. I have purchased over 500 of these and I think maybe 5 have failed. The seller was responsive and sent me replacements immediately. A lot of my customers comment on how sturdy these reels are and how they love the 360 turn the alligator clips have. I make badge reels so I'm particular about these; these are a good alligator style grip without the actual teeth that can fray some clothing. They easily clip on and the extension works well. I would definitely recommend these vs. those that I have purchased in the past on ebay.

This review is long overdue. These are my go to badge reels! I have never had a problem with them nor even had one break. I always order from this company and they always ship my order right away. I have never had to wait as long as it states. It’s normally super quick!

I used these in combination with flat back buttons covered with printed fabric to make personalized badge holders for all my coworkers. Everyone loved them and they've had them for months. No one has complained that any have broken or no longer swivel/retract. I have bought a couple hundred and haven't had an issue with a single one! Very happy.

Thought my button would come off within a few tugs or pulls of the cord - NOPE.I am very happy with the quality of these.
