Hipa 10-Meter 3.5MM Lawn Mower Recoil Starter Rope Pull Cord for Craftsman Husqvarna STIHL Sears Poulan Briggs Stratton Chainsaw Trimmer Edger Brush Cutter Engine Parts

I bought this for my STIHL MS180C with Easy2Start. Multiple internet sources lead me to believe that I needed 3.5mm for my saw. Nope. Doesn't even come close. It's too large. There is nothing wrong with the cord, I am just posting here for the benefit of other.

Durability is unknown but was perfectly sized replacement for the recoil starter of my Tecumseh engine on a late 90s MTD snowblower. And have extra left over for future needs with other power equipment.

I have 3 chainsaws, all Stihl. I installed on my 20” farm boss and it works great. Was afraid it might be too weak but works as good or better than the original and now I never have to worry about tearing the rope again. I have enough to replace 10 times.

I was able to keep my grandfather's Snapper lawn mower going longer by replacing the failed pull cord rope. When the previous pull cord rope started to snag and not recoil I tore it down and found the cord was twice the original thickness from it fraying. This replacement cord was the correct gauge and strength so this is a proper pull cord rope for small engines. This mower has the original Briggs & Stratton engine and is built like a tank with mostly metal parts so glad to keep it going longer.

Starter cord worked perfectly for my Toro 22” push mower!! My dog chewed thru the original cord between the engine and handle. It was little bigger than the original cord but I wasn’t sure what size mine was but it worked and that’s not a problem with the cord as the size is indicated in the description. Plenty of string for 2 or 3 mowers. Highly Recommend!!
