Fun read
This book was quite a light hearted read. I read it in one day. I enjoyed the story and felt there were some twists to the story I wasn't expecting.

Fun read
Overall I enjoyed this story of thirty somethings who meet for the first time after leaving university ten years earlier. Matt, Zach, Clarky, Fi and Luca had morphed into a family during their house share, supporting one another and having a great time. They always meant to stay in touch, but life got in the way and Matt’s wedding would be the first time they had been together since.Weddings have their share of dramas and this one was no exception. At the last minute Luca was drafted in to be a substitute bridesmaid, because her dress matched the bridesmaids. Things went awry from then on. Luca met her almost ex Tom and tried to avoid the catch up he wanted, another ex appeared, then there was a new man she thought might be interesting to get to know, things didn’t run smoothly and once you add excessive amounts of alcohol to the mix, things got worse. The book was well written and easy to read, some of the situations were farcical and some of the people awful just like life I suppose.

It was okay.........
........but if you are expecting it to be "A laugh out loud" experience, you might be disappointed. It was a very predictable storyline. Confusing at times, keeping up with all of the characters. There were also quite a number of text errors that should have been picked up on. It was reasonable though, so don't be out off by my comments. I could be too old to appreciate university life and ten year meet up gaps.

Past meets present
Really enjoyable. I liked Luca and was hoping it would all work out for her in the end. It took a while to get into as there were so many characters. But once I’d worked out who they all were, it was a satisfying read. The parallel threads – past and present - worked well due to the changes in timeline being well signposted. Amusing and heartwarming.
