Kiss Him, Not Me 14: Standing on Vanishing Land in Coastal Louisiana

No fault at all with the book itself, perfect condition. Amazing story

Honestly, after reading this whole series, I think I'll pretend volume 13 was the last one. It ends in a perfectly satisfying way. This volume (14) starts with sex, and sex takes up most of the volume (not actual sex, except at one part, but a whole lot of stuff surrounding sex, including some interrupted lead-ups to sex). If you liked the sweet, mostly PG thing this story had going for it up through volume 13, like I did, you may want to skip this one. Other than the sex stuff, there's pretty much just a very cliche "he wants to go away to college but she doesn't want him so far away" thing that you get with a lot of high school shojo, and it plays out pretty much the same way they all do. And then there's an epilogue, which I wasn't crazy about. (No surprise ships or anything, mostly just updating where everyone's at in their career.)The only real things this volume has going for it, in my opinion, are:**SPOILERS START**The main character marries the guy she picked (eventually) and they have a son named after that anime character who started the whole thing. Which is sweet.**SPOILERS END**I really don't like when mangas have high school characters having sex, especially in a case like this where they're both so obviously not ready for it that they're having to psych themselves up and just ... the whole thing was really uncomfortable for me, and not how I wanted a previously very sweet romance/comedy story to go. But that's me.It got very *steamy*, I guess is what I'm trying to say. If you've read this far in the series and you want to see it get steamy, then you might like this volume (especially if you also really want to know the sexual history of all the guys, which was another thing I could have done without, that whole scene). If you don't, I think 13 is a perfectly acceptable place to stop, and you're not missing much at all.

I loved how it wrapped things up. Specially since she chose the guy I liked from the beginning.
