Does what it says it will do

Okay, we bought this as a replacement for the totally ineffective ORTHO product (see that review). One treatment and we are seeing NO roaches. Only problem so far is that the spray mechanism is jammed. One moment it was working just fine and the next the trigger wouldn't move. Yes, there is some odor with this product, whereas there was none with the ORTHO product. But pure water doesn't have an odor either, and the ORTHO product was as effective as water..A little history may be appropriate here: we sold our house and bought another that had been unoccupied for 3-4 months during which time it developed a roach problem. It appears we may have solved that problem with the BAYER product. If not, we will update this review.UPDATE: 10-04-17 Fixed the "jamming" problem, but the spray mechanism still won't spray. Fortunately the ORTHO sprayer works with this. So far the ingredients appear to be effective in killing roaches, but only time will tell.UPDATE June 2020. For some reason, probably the sprayer problem, we did not continue to use this product and the roaches staged a comeback. During that time we tried many other means to control them: sticky traps, bait designed to kill back at the nest & other sprays. All with little to no success. In reviewing past purchases we came upon this. Reordered. It has a new spray system that works well & we have the roaches on the run again.

We don't see roaches very often in our home but since I LOATH them, I don't even like to see the few that I do see each month. So far, is helping a lot and I haven't seen any at all since spraying - that was over a month ago. I sprayed this around the outside of my home as well as in areas (along baseboards and in crevices) where they seem to come inside (near doors, laundry room, bathroom, vents, etc).The spray is VERY strong so you have to be sure that the area is well ventilated. The first time, I practically choked on the strong fumes. I quickly learned from that. I would then spray an area and quickly leave out and wouldn't go back in for a couple hours. I also closed it off from my dog and rabbit until it was completely dry.The spray nozzle is easy to work with. The little extension cord could stand to be a little longer but it's not a dealbreaker. This is a very large amount of spray and will easily last me a year since I only plan to spray every 2-3 months (since that's what's working). If I see any signs of bugs, I'll use this as a spot treatment; but so far, I haven't had to do this.

Kills ants on contact with this easy to use sprayer. I think it's a very good value, as well.UPDATE: 08/03/17: : After 2 years of using it inside and outside of my house, I am still pleased. Did a test that inside my double garage door where I always see lots of cobwebs at base of each corner. Swept away one corner and sprayed Bayer Advanced 502795 Home Pest Control. After 2 weeks, observed NO SPIDER WEBS THERE AND NO BUGS CRAWLING AROUND. However, on the other side I did not treat there were more bugs and and more spider webs accumulating. Cleaned that area, sprayed the product and now I no longer have bugs in either corner. Very pleased and I will continue to use it everywhere! One negative is the spray attachment - which does not work very well and seemed to clog up after a few pumps. Had to let it sit and respray. The plastic part broke off this year (2nd year of use) and it was useless, so I just transferred or poured what I needed into another generic spray bottle and all is well.

his is my second purchase, the first one I had for years without a problem. This one, though, the sprayer quit after a couple of weeks. Hopefully, they will send my a new sprayer. I really wish i hadn't thrown the old bottle out, so I could grab the old one off of it! What a pain! It's a good product, great price. Hopefully, this is a one-off.

I've bought this a few times before. IT'S AMAZING!!!! I live in apartments and found out my "allergic reaction" was actually a bed bug infestation here that I was unaware of prior to moving in. NOTHING KILLS BED BUGS or so I thought! I washed everything and sprayed my apartment . I did this once a week 3 times total and I was free! No more insane nights getting bit. (Literally the first time I sprayed we all noticed a difference) I have since showed all my neighbors my miracle cure for all bugs including the horrible bed bugs!
