The spring should be more strong , there was minor defect end of the blade(bad inspection. I filed that part to be smooth). overall design is good. Blade should be little more longer(suggestion). LED is good. . Not a bad buy. I have and had dozen of Japanese made cutters and gizmos(shimano and others), so I know the differences

Handy little nippers, great addition to the tackle box. Have no problems cutting braid, mono or fluorocarbon .

This is a tool every fisherman should have in the boat/ice shack/fly bag etc...Nothing cuts line better.Mono, Flouro, 60 pound braid - these cutters will cut clean every time.

These are a must when using braided line. they work very well.
